Default Intensity vs top tier teams in the league

I was watching the Orlando vs Cleveland game today and noticed that the whole game was intense. Not just the end of the game, or certain spurts. I know that the atmosphere at the ACC is never that intense all game long. It was like both teams we playing like it was game 7 of the playoffs. I'm just wondering on your guys perspective, Do you guys think the Raptor's need to get more intense all game? I've notice it's mostly top tier teams that have this atmosphere, which make their games exciting to watch.

Also, I think the Raptor's broadcasting needs to step it up lol. I've notice american broadcasters are a lot more insightful and don't go off on stupid tangibles like our broadcasters do. Maybe a remake of their cheesy promos to go into timeouts etc.. Just sayin'.

Crowds will always get up for big games against big teams and keep it going for 48 minutes. It's tough to keep the energy going for 48 minutes when you're playing the Wizards because...it's the Wizards. If you watch Orlando play a team like the Nets or the Bucks the energy isn't going to be there for a full game like it was against the Cavs. Babyface is right though, when the Raps played the Lakers the energy at the ACC was nuts.

perfect storm

best team in the league against the number 2 in the East, Cavs on a losing streak and the rivalry of the past playoffs

Top teams always have high intensity at their arenas. I am not just talking about that one games, i was using it as a reference.

Can you give examples? The Lakers on meaningless games have an absolutely dead crowd. Atlanta only now is receiving a crowd showing up. Cleveland has had a similar crowd to us i.e. get going in a close game or big games etc.

But yeah, take into account when you watch these games and why they're being nationally televised. Usually they're big games.

The only exception I'd argue is the Utah crowd. They're always crazy. Maybe because there's nothing else to do in Salt Lake.
