toronto is the obvious choice
portland might be a better team, but they have a ton of forwards and he wouldn't get nearly as many minutes. And toronto is a much more attractive city from every perspective.

Portland might win a playoff round more than we will, but it's not like they are a contender or anything.

Portland didnt really need Hedo. There would have been playing time issues. Rudy, Outlaw, Webster, Hedo. Thats just oo much. PG was their worst position. Even if Miller right now is not looking like the greatest choice I think they will be fine. The problem in that team is in the man love Mcmillan has for blake. I like Blake but I dont understand how he can play so much with Miller and Rudy there. Looks like all he wants is player that will give the ball to Roy 90% and thats it.

If he wants a bitchy wife = Portland

If he wants a happy wife and get action as well = Toronto

Simple enough choice

I would argue that's why they didn't need him. all of those guys are good players and are young and still improving. It wouldn't be smart for Portland to cut their playing time and their opportunities for growth.

whoever offered the most money, which was Toronto

If I'm choosing between Portland and Toronto personally, I would choose Portland b/c I would get PT at PG

Better team.

Although, Roy needs no help in crunchtime.

I'd go to Portland too.

Great team, beautiful city...

Why not?

You've got a Time Machine , Put yourself to Hedo's seat... What would you be choosing at July for your most likely last contract.

Portland ? Toronto ?
Toronto. His wife felt very strongly against Portland to the point that he had to go back on his word. That's the only thing you need to know. You never go against your woman if she feels so strongly about something unless you're going to to cut yourself loose. Trust me, I moved to a place for career that my GF wasn't impressed with and I haven't heard the end of it and we're almost two years into this...Ugh.

Somethings are worth more than winning 5-10 more games per year.

Toronto.

Not only do you have a happy wife, but you'd feel more at home in a much more cosmopolitan city. Portland is beautiful city, but nowhere does it match Toronto in terms of being world class.

Sorry, but if I'm making millions of dollars a year my wife will live wherever the hell I say.

What does world class mean?

Dirty and polluted? An urban nightmare?

Toronto. Portland has much depth at SF that with Hedo being there his minutes woulda decreased heavlily. And I totally agree with DVS' first post about the bitchy wife thing

You mean they are young then. MIller is as experienced as Hedo.
