Andrea + 2nd round pick

for

Big Baby/JJ Redick

JJ Redick brings the shooter who can come off the screen and hit the big shots. Big Baby is a low FG% PF who gets ASTs and REBs

someone work the money around that.

So who loses minutes between Amir and Ed when Glen Davis comes in?

We'd probably have to send Ed the other way considering Amir's contract. Amir will always be a guy off the bench.

Mehhh. Not a fan. Personally, I would rather have Ed Davis over Glen Davis.

Call me crazy, but I find that proposal a lot more realistic than your Memphis one.

Thing is can JV and Eddy D coexist as starters? Their play sets seem pretty similar with JV being the favorite. Rather have a mid range shooter at PF who can actually do a couple other things than just score. Big Baby can produce when given minutes, he gets a couple ASTs, STLs as well as 8+ rbs, just look at his numbers. His FG% will always be low though.

I actually like that trade. But I don't want to give ross, he's not tested enough yet and could turn into ray allen and we'd be crying over it. DC needs to either let him play, or gtfo. enough is enough!

It's really hard to gauge his value because he's such an enigma. You can go up and down every NBA team and his value will drastically change.

Portland has literally no need for Jose. They have Lillard who is avging something like 19/6 now. This leaves them with no starting SG (unless you think Ross is ready) and I don't think they're too keen on swapping Aldridge for an inferior Bargs. Neither is a great rebounder but Aldridge is better at it and also at scoring. IMO they both suck as defenders.

I definitely like the idea of trading Bargs + Calderon for Granger + a first rounder. Even though I we have the talent to be a 8-7th seed, we've got off to a really bad start and maybe we're better off tanking for that top 3 pick (losing Bargs and Caldy will help with that), especially since Granger could be out until the last month of the season.

Lowry/Scrub/Lucas
Derozan/Ross
Granger/Fields/McGuire
Davis/Amir/Kleiza
Jonas/Gray

Spot on. This is the exact same reason I can totally understand why BC has stuck by him year after year.

Sometimes I'm sure he's be a regular all star if he'd gone to Boston, San An, LAL etc.....

Bargs is THE enigma.

I think Eddy can develop a mid range jumper in the same timespan that JV develops a consistent statline. Look how long it took for Amir to develop his jumper, and its still not there. I say we give Ed a chance.
