His name is Bargn88, let him be.

If we're planning to just make playoffs, Gasol would be good.

Gasol > Bargnani by a long shot...

There are a ton of Bargnani bandwagoners on this RF forum, I really have no clue why.

The other players putting up his numbers or better are making more than 10 mill, a lot more.

I was on board with trading Calderon's expiring contract early in the year when Lowry was beasting, but the more I watch Lowry struggle, I get worried if we dealt Calderon, we would be seeing a lot more of John Lucas, which I am sure we can both agree would be a nightmare..

I'm on the fence with dealing both, but would be more willing to depart with Calderon assuming we can get a good return, Lowry returns to form, and we can find a better backup PG.
His contract is far from a bargain and he's more of a 17/4 player this season. The fact is that he's inconsistent across the board at both ends of the court. He's a 7 footer that doesn't block shots, doesn't rebound, at times looks uninterested and is at times inefficient on the offensive end. Would i amnesty him, hell no. We can get something decent for him imo, and i don't think his contract is that bad by NBA standards. But this guy isn't helping his own cause this season. Nor has he most of his career, the criticism directed at him is mostly waranted and of his own doing.

Lol Wtf is that suppose to mean exactly?

And no, I'd prefer your input rather than assuming just because my name is "Bargn88" that I'm a homer and my opinion shouldn't be valued.

I love how everyone, or one person -1's me. It's fun, I'm being heard yay Back to the point. Technically if your name has "Barg" in it, a lot of people are going to think that your a big barg's fan, its just how it is brother.

Fair enough, solid post. I still think he'll get to 20/5 for the year, too early to assume he will finish at 17/4. That's skewed by a couple games where had like 4 points.

So should we assume that Kirby is the only Landry Fields supporter on this forum because his avatar is Landry Fields?

If Eric Gordon wants out of NO:

NO: Bargnani, Derozan, Ebanks

Toronto: Gordon, Gasol, Morris

LAL: Calderon, Kleiza, Henry, NO 1st (protected 2013)

NO starting 5: Rivers, Derozan, Ebanks, Bargnani, Davis

Raps starting 5: Lowry, Gordon, Pietrus, Gasol, Valanciunas

LAL get a much better backup, a decent SF off the bench with a managable contract and a prospect at SG. And after this season they have Jose's 10Mil coming off the books.

I'm a Lowry fan, but still question some stuff he does, could have a little bit better IQ, but he has that cocky attitude, and backs it up. TO desperately needs that, he has game no doubt.

Yeah well, we all have that. I don't get the Calderon/Bargnani fanboys either.

Whatever.

Ton of articles came out lately about LAL wanting Calderon, about LAL's gm Kupchak's ultimatum to Pau about the need for TOR to get rid of Bargnani. The solution seem so obvious, why can' this happen already?!

Both teams struggling, Nash still out. Something's gotta give at some point soon if things don't get better for these teams.

I'm so excited, want Pau to keep struggling so we can unload Landry!!!!! D'Antoni can have his prodigy back and we can finally be rid of his brutal contract!!! It's kismet baby!!!

Jose, Landry, Amir for Pau.... boom. If Houston wants in, even better.

Bargnani is a risk for any team.

His D and rebounding are notorious.

Just because the Raptors want to get rid of him doesn't mean the Lakers are interested in having him on their team.

disagree... his defense is overstated. We're so weak that it just stands out more than it should....

We're waiting until December 15th so we can include Landry and take back Morris.
