Default If we were a couple games under .500....

and 5 or 6 games back of a playoff spot (hypothetical of course) would you feel better?? I see alot of ppl writing this season off, and i still think it's a bit early, Bucks are gonna fall off, the injuries will catch up with them, jersey looks on the verge of making a pretty big move for the future, NYK and Charlotte i believer will fade because of inexperience making a late run plus i just dont think they have the talent. Indy and Washington are just flat out bad atm, i know we have a worse record then Indy (barely) but i think most would agree we have a much stronger roster when healthy.

Obv we arent in great shape, and im not guaranteeing a run or anything like that, but as Raptor fans, you should stop completely burying the team, we still have a real shot to make it, perhaps CB4 being out will help him adjust when he comes back, and Jose could magically get healthy and away we go!!!

Cliff Notes:

- Im not ready to give up on the season

What do you get by making the playoffs anyway at this point a beat down from the Cavs or Celtics. It makes little sense to make it and even less sense to think this team can. The team has failed to win more then 3 in a row all year. A loss tomorrow and this team is looking at a 9 game losing streak. I mean seriously I see no reason to believe this team can make playoffs and even less reason to understand what the point in that would be.

I'm sure BC is grappling with the dilemma right now of whether to improve the team now by trade to possibly make it to the playoffs or to "tank it" as they say in order to get a better pick.

Tanking it may seem like quitting on the team, but you could also say its cutting our losses for a season that's already a losing effort so we need to look to the future by getting a better draft pick. I'm not saying its morally the right thing to do, but hey Danny Ainge did it and ended up with a championship.

A true fan ugo. Agreed w/ u about AI.. and this too. We can do it!! LOL. by do it i dont mean win... but get the 8th spot lol. I think we've played only a few games this season w/ bosh, JO and Caldy together. With Joey Graham playing OK and Bargnani (I think he should be coming off the bench like ginobili)... I still have hope.

Well, as a Raptor fan, I am thinking about a better future rather than a first round exit.

We have no chance of making the playoffs. It will likely require AT LEAST 38 wins. That would mean 19-10 the rest of the way, if not 20-9.

Fuck it, I still believe. Raptors are not winning any games, no idea why. But when they finally get on a roll, I predict a vicious streak!

That's cool.
I haven't given it up on it per se either... but i have lost all hope of making the playoffs. I mainly look for individual improvements now when i watch the games. Principally Joey and Bargnani.

As for the playoffs, i don't even think it would benefit this team that much if we made it. Not as much as a solid player through the draft. With the way things are looking, i'd take free talent over a few extra wins any day of the week.

I hate what this team has become. It's gotten to the point that I can't even watch them on some occasions (sp). There are moments where there is a lack of effort evident, a lack of caring, which in turn disrespects the fans. That's something that I haven't seen before on this squad, the lack of effort.

Now, I have given up on this season because in all honesty, we're a bad ball club. I don't care about the playoffs, typically when we've discussed playoffs, we've mentioned that we wish to maybe take a round. Now, we're simply saying it'd be nice to be there. Has this become Leaf Nation? I'd like to see some effort, some fire, passion, whatever you call it out there, because lately, that's the last thing this team has shown.
