If the Raptors moved...

Alright, very hypothetical, but bare with me here. :cookie:

Let's say MLSE sells the team to a new owner. The Raptors continue to struggle and the team begins losing money. This new owner then decides he wants to move the entire Raptors franchise to a "bigger market" city in the States (Las Vegas, San Diego etc..).

My question to you is... Would you continue to follow the Raptors? Or would you look for a new team to follow? And if so, which team?

I'd stop following them and I'd probably find another team like the Nuggets/Thunder/GSW.

It's EXTEMELY unlikely given the fact that Toronto is the fourth biggest market, so unless the Raps would become the second team in New York, your whole premise is bunk.

It's a tough question... But since I'm not from Toronto I think I would keep the new Raptors as my team. But I would still feel really bad.

You're the only hope for international NBA.

I wouldn't follow the team and my interest in basketball would fall under the other major sports leagues

I definitely would stop watching them.

I only cheer for them because I love home town teams. Honestly I have a hard time cheering for other teams in the league.

First of all, this isn't gonna happen. But if it did I'd probably just start cheering for OKC. But the Raptors are Top 10 when it comes to healthy franchises in the NBA ($$) and has a strong fanbase. This is very hypathetical.

So, thats ok. Why you should cheer for other teams? Home town fans are the best, not like some F bangwagoners

Why would they move? A profitable (marginally) team in the fourth-largest market in NA?

I am rooting for the home team, so....

I guess it would depend where they move to, but most likely i would just stop caring about the NBA all together. Interestingly enough, i am getting closer to that point with the Raptors still in Toronto.
