Call me crazy, but I just think the whole system NYK had last year was shit and wasn't conducive to allowing young players to feel comfortable.

So much was focused around Amare and Melo. When Melo got hurt in late Jan. and with Lin stepping in in Feb, Landry had the best stretch of the season.

If you think Nash won't help us get into the playoffs you obviously didn't watch him play last year. Unless his body completely decays in the next three months I don't see how he won't help our team

When your confidence takes a hit your FT% can too.

Don't know if you're old enough to have seen Nick Anderson (ORL) back in the day but he was a prime example of that.

If you're looking for an example of how it works in reverse just look at Rondo in this last playoff run.

It still all comes down to the real meat - the moves that need to happen via trade, and BC has some time for that. If all he's got is doing everything he can to lure a 38 year old player, then yeah - there's big question marks. Surely that wasn't what he was going on about for the last two seasons, especially when considering he spoke about acquiring a pg of the future. This pg has very little future. Which is fine if he does everything he can to fill out a well-balanced roster rather than looking for some old model in Phoenix to somehow materialize.

New York is a place where guys pad their stats and put up numbers. If you can't put up decent stats there you don't belong on a decent NBA roster.

Those are big red flags to stay away.

Again... yep.

Some might roll their eyes and disagree but NYK played their best ball of the season in that stretch when Linsanity was running wild.... and it wasn't necessarily ALL because of Jeremy... it was because the Knicks played like a TEAM and not a 1-man (or 2-man) show.

BC is just doing some PR move. From Triano the 1st Canadian NBA Head Coach, and now this...

Nash -- hero comes home! lol

Wow!!! This would steal the hearts and wallet of Torontonians!!!
LOLLLL

Not sure what else BC could have done more. If Nash doesn't come he wasn't that serious about coming here to begin with.

Stupid thread!
BC has done everything to get Nash, if Nash doesn't come it's on him. He's not obligated to play in Canada. Kinda ridiculous the intensity this situation has created but hey, we're all talking about the Raps

Yes....This thread IS stupid.

BC has f'd up? he's just found a talented player who committed to coming here and I really hope we get him. Besides, if he comes this ensures DD is going to SF and if not, then it's his replacement. Win win to me

Hey now, it's been stated numerous times that a rational statement like that will have no place here.

100%, if we get him this will be great!

Well FT% is all psychological. you don't drop 20% in your second year unless your wrist is broken. The Knicks are so dysfunctional, no one gets touches except 2 players...not a lot of trust anywhere else. Makes sense his confidence was rattled.

Of course he wants attendance. Attendance and interest equates to business and best of all money. This is a business after all. Sheesh

Well then your eyes must be impervious to what basketball is outside of dunks, points per game and empty statistics.

No, my mind is impervious to delusional posters. Lets face it. You'll buy into any signing Colangelo makes no matter how shitty it is. Try spitting out the Kool Aid for once. This signing was terrible.
