If Jose got Injured Instead of TJ Where...

... would Raps be today?

Would they be 5 games over .500 or...

Uh-oh ... don't know where this thread will go, but I'll say we'd be 15 under .500. :cheeky-smiley-013:

Sincerely, its too hard to say, but I don't think it would be a significant difference as some would say.

I think we'd be at .500. TJ is a very capable player when healthy.

But there would be less team play and a heavy reliance on Bosh and TJ for all scoring, which is why I think we'd have slightly less wins than we have now.

IggyPosterizes 01-26-2008 07:01 PM

Probably the same if not a little bit worse, I mean TJ did lead this team to a division title last year and people tend to forget that.

Claudius 01-26-2008 07:19 PM

To be honest, I think we'd be about where we are. TJ is NOT a bad player at all.

What I'd love to see is a shot-distribution graph for the games when Calderon starts and plays heavy minutes. IMHO, when he runs our team, he has a knack for distributing the shots and opportunities among his teammates more evenly that Ford does, thus keeping the entire team "warm" and into the game as much as possible. That, and his controlled, determined way of running the offence is why I'd prefer him running the Raps over Ford.

We'd be in the same spot and have one really good point guard and no one to back him up.

the better question is, where would we be if there was no injury, and we'd still have TJ playing 30 minutes and Jose 20.

worse than we are now, TJ does not deserve the starting spot anymore.

wow great question....
i think we'd be doing around the same... maybe one or two games worse.

Sick, Wicked and Nasty! 01-28-2008 10:53 AM
