Right now Bosh is leading the team, but if he leaves, who will lead the team? I don't think anyone on the team can lead if Bosh leaves, maybe DeRozan in a couple years.

Ya I was going to say Derozan as well.

The reason I wanted to draft him was solely based on the Vince Carter Comparison. He's got a pretty sweet midrange game, plays with tons of energy and can jump out of the gym.

The difference as someone mentioned in another post is his dribbling and his ability to not get the rack based on his dribbling skills (unlike Carter). I hope he can do it. I say if we can keep Bosh around and this guy turns into Carter... we've got a shot at a title.

Are you guys crazy, derozen? Come on, Hedo would most likely step up and become the leader of this team. Derozen maybe near the last year or two fo hedos contract.

I agree it will be hedo, and not to hate or anything but I can't see derozan as good as Carter at any time maybe like a jefferson type player but there will only be one VC

People always compare DeRozan to carter. In my opinion hes more like Tracy McGrady.

Big difference... We'd hate to see him making 30pts a game instead of 29

I think he means cuz he can play defense, like when T-mac was raw and with the Raptors he wasnt the best scorer but he lead the team in blocks and steals I think which is basically wat demar has to do

Hedo won't lead anything. He's a good 3 option for a team and a good clutch player.

IMO it seems he doesn't have the will or the demeanor to lead a team... ever. I guess that could all change.

But if it's not Derozan, it will be whoever we get back for Bosh.

more like G Wallace to me, only because of the rebounding

doesn't matter, as long as he is the best DeRozan its good enough for me

Colangelo is the leader anyway

Derozan.

Jose and Hedo would hold the fort for a year or two until Derozan was ready though.

it depends on what we're getting back

in any case, if you're referring to the offensive load, that will fall on Bargnani and hedu. Leadership wise, Bosh is not going to be missed much, probably Calderon will take over that. We could become a team like the rockets, without a true best player until Bargnani or derozan can fill that part, or maybe get lucky in the draft.

If Bosh walks, that would be a massive blow, without getting anything in return this team will drop at least 5 wins if not more. Especially if we make the playoffs this season, in which case miami will get our pick.

I liken him more to Richard Jefferson...It's too early to determine, depends on what transpires in the off-season and what the Raps potentially recieve in return.

Depends entirely what you mean by "leader".

The best player (one with the most skills) would prob be Hedo. He'd also be the guy taking the last shots.

The guy who I could see leading the team emotionally and getting in people's faces is def. Jose.

I don't know if DD has that "franchise player" talent in him... it's still way too early to determine that. If he does though... wow... we'll be in a great spot (if Bosh re-signs).
