Question If BC could go back in time...

...Do you think he'd still choose Andrea Bargnani with the first overall pick?

I think if Colangelo could go back in time, he would realize that defensive rebounding is more important than a center who can shoot threes.

Absolutely, BC & Mauricio are like father figures for Andrea and Andrea is like a son to both men. This isn't a question of basketball skills, it's a personal choice BC made to develop a fellow Italian into an allstar no matter what the cost to the team or it's fans. BC would definitely have chosen Bargnani first overall in just about any year if he was available besides maybe the year Lebron came in. BC would have chosen Bargs over guys like Melo, Bosh, Wade, Dwight Howard, Chris Paul, etc. I'm certain of it.

Cher straddling the gun on that gunner ship is one of the best moments in popular culture all-time.

I've always wondered what her son (on the guitar) thought of his mom parading around on a boat with her asscheeks hanging out.

Portland did

It not always about the player it also if the player skill assests will fit in your system. Since we had Bosh a PF who is a mid-range player, we really needed a C who just sit in the paint and rebounds/dunks.

Bargnani probably would fit a lot better with team like NJN, Orlando, Cavs, Houston. Because they had a dominate C and Bargnani can be PF spreading the floor.

so that means we would have had Lemarcus Aldridge, becuase Roy was drafted 6th or 7th, and wasn't on the radar concerning hte top picks

so BC would have to choose between Tyrus Thomas, Adam Morrison Lemarcus Aldridge

the one thing about Lemarcus Aldridge is he does everything Andrea does, but he plays with a better set up guy in Roy, we don't have anyone on the level Roy to help Andrea

I'm sure Lemarcus Alderidge numbers would be the same standing beside bosh, well hell they were when he was playing with Oden, LA numbers spiked when guys went down

plus the fact that we don't have a coach even close to Nate Mcmillan, this guy does work, he made Jerome James look good in Seattle, and now he is geting work out of old man Juwan Howard, this guy knows how to get the most out of his bigs,

BC would probably fire Sam Mitchell and bring in a coach he wanted

the funny thing is BC never brought in a coach that he wanted yet, fired mitchell and pretty much made Triano coach out of respect to the organization and the fact that he's been a Raptors assistant for so long that he had to
