Default I STILL LOVE THE RAPTORS

They're like you're whiny girlfriend, you slow boyfriend. Bitching Mom, asshole dad, douchebag brother, annoying sister. Or your children! No matter how bad they suck or how pissed off they get you. And how flawed they are in every aspect.

You still love them.

No matter if CB4 misses his shots.

Caldy ends his streak.

Bargs hitting 5-20.

Doesn't matter....

They are still our only team in Canada.

Still running.

Still young.

Still love them.

Everything will Balance...

Just like the way of the Tao. Wu-wei the non-action. Everything shall balance itself. We start off booming once BC hits our season is great!
Then it hits the middle. Then it slumps. Its all part of the balance...

I still love the Raptors. I don't care what you dudes here say.

We all still love the Raptors, we just hate how they play and how most of the players on the team either suck or dont mesh.

That and our GM has sucked this year, the tv stations suck, and Canada overall in recognizing basketball sucks.

I love the Raptors, but MLSE sucks and with this years team there really isnt anything to cheer about besides Bargnani really. We're a treadmill team with no direction right now and its depressing that we went from such a hard working overachieving fun to watch team when Garbo was healthy to THIS.

Honestly, if you have no affection for the players whatsover, all you are cheering is a logo and a name.

Yea I definitely agree. I love the raps no matter what.

but... it's frustrating when it seems like they're not trying (bucks game). If we had a team full of guy's w/ Jo's attitude and still had the same record.. I'd be a little happier. Calderon seems to be there with his intensity... but not really anyone else.

I mean we should show some emotion on the court lol.

hey look at it like this... there is no such thing as a bad experience, this season was a season of learning and testing things out. we have learned that joey can do some things and is just as good as jamario (if not...better), Bargs has earned being a respectable first pick, jose can create his own shot, Bosh isnt the superstar we all thought he was; just a good player, an allstar, a second option on a top tier team...i still love him though, how big of an impact delfino actually had, how jay is an OK coach at best (and no... sam isn't any better, i like how JT is testing everything out, he has room to improve and become good), jermaine gave our team some much needed balls.

now that we know wat we did wrong, we correct our mistakes next season. build off of Bargs success and how the future may be looking pretty good for the Raptors with all the talent (especially if we tank it and get a top 10 draft pick). i love the Raptors and dont think that we are doomed. i trust bryan and his abilities as a GM, i know he has some work to do this offseason, but i think he will do some good things. i think the future is looking bright with all things considered.

well i've been a fan and watching since day 1 of the franchise and i'm from toronto so this is my team and i'll cheer for them no matter what and even though we are sucking this can never be as bad as the expansion years and the directly post vc year
but it still sucks to have to watch this when you look at our players and when you list them you can see them being a good team but when you watch them its so contrary to on paper, you just get frustrated because it shouldn't be this bad with a team of these players
and at times its like they aren't trying and just playing for fun because at least in the expansion years you can see them trying but the players just weren't good enough, this team here on paper should probably be a second level team right under the top top teams of the league, and watching them they should at least be at the top of the middle pack of teams, but because of their lack of intensity and desire they're neither of those 2 and more like a bottom team which is so frustrating
and the worst part is watching the franchise player pretty much sums up this whole team, the guy is full of skills and probably 1 of the top players in his position, he's probably 1 of the top players after the top top players in the league but his play on the court doesn't always show it

I haven't watched the Raps as long as some people have but I remember watching from the year that VC went down and the Raps sucked badly. That was my first year and I got hooked onto them even though they sucked. The Raptors got better from then on and that's why this season has been a dissappointment to me although my from them will never diminish

good perspective on seeing things.
cheer some more when lottery drafts come. next season looks like a new beginning.

The Raptors will come back again just like the 06/07 season.
only 10 years old and division champs? fuck ya.

Given all the talk of people leaving and the way individuals have performed is that such a bad thing. To me if Bosh ends up going that is exactly what I will be doing. Pro sports is getting like college sports there is no more loyalty from anyone. So why not just cheer for the logo and name on the front of a Jersey.

I will always support them because they're the 'home' team for me...but i am not enjoying this year at all and probably won't go to another game until i see a turn in the effort on the floor. I still have faith that BC can make this team a perrennial winner but it's going to take longer than his first year made it seem.

So are you saying that if Bosh is dealt elsewhere that you'll no longer be a Raptors fan?

Why use 'if' Dr.J? Isn't it better to use 'when'?

Forget what's happening to Bosh now... what are the chances he retires as a Raptor? He is bound to be moved at one point even if it's 10 years from now.

i'm pretty sure dino blogger was saying that he is cheers for the team and not any particular player.

that's how i read his post.

That's also how i feel too. I support the team.
