Default I have an idea...

Why not play Bosh at the 3 in order to get AB in the starting line up?

Bosh has improved his small guy defense over the summer, cause that's all he did in pickandrolls, and AB can easily defend fours, maybe even a bit better than CB.

If AB continues to play like this, we shouldn't move him to the bench.

Anyone else thinks this might be possible?

Jose, AP, Bosh, Ab, JO.

Maybe even JO at the 4 and AB at the 5. We all know JO is a natural 4 as well.

Bosh could kill any 3 that's guarding him, and he could defend them well too...I think Bosh is a better defender away from the basket than in the paint.

So, too crazy?

I think our perimeter defence would be even more terrible than it is already

I thought about that, but with Jay, everything is all about packing it inside, and stopping the easy shots, so...?

Our defence and offence would be equally as worse if this happened. I think the best possibility would be to take JO of the bench

Our bench would be nothing then with all three in the starting lineup , I say bring O'Neal off the bench.

And how many were open looks? A ridiculous amount.

And personally, I'm not a fan of Jay's defensive scheme of packing it in either. That's just me though.

Are you kidding, the last thing we need is MORE penetration, which is what would happen here. Or Bosh would get too many fouls

Da'Peg hit it, if the starting lineup doesn't work when it returns, bring JO off the bench. Or trade him

C, teams have been playing US like that for YEARS.... just pack the lane to deny Bosh let us shoot from the outside. In fact ALL the best teams do this.... the major difference right now is that teams like LAL, BOS and SAS have been doing it so long and play it so well that they can rotate to shooters and make them shoot CONTESTED shots. The Raps are still learning the last part of that equation... but I think that we'll def. be better for it.

I mean it all about percentages, teams make below 40% from the three, if you pack the inside, and force a three, chances are they will miss more than they make, unless they go off, in that case we will lose.

Look at tonight, they missed like 4,5 WIDE OPEN threes, and they missed...its all about odds, I don't really mind the Jay scheme, it plays out to our advantage, more often than not.
