Default i hate calderon

watching him play makes my head hurt. i honestly think he's created a turnover phobia that gets worse day by day. the guy does absolutely nothing out on the court. i really don't care about his assist numbers and his high shooting percentages because it seems that he's so concerned about them himself where he won't do anything to effect them. it's pathetic. i watched him all last night and i don't recall him even stepping a foot deep within the 3pt line. what the crap is with that?

i have not problem admitting that he was amazing for those two months last season, but the truth his that it was his contract season and we got duped.

screw you jose.

well what do you want him to do? just take a 50% chance of turning the ball over? hes different than some of the other PG's, he'll actually read the defense before passing the ball. if he were passing all the time without reading the defense, he would probably be Solomon V2. and how is he concerned about his numbers all the time, he puts up 3-pointers in defenders faces. remember the milwaukee game where he hit that dagger 3-ball in Sessions face? don't criticize calderon's play because we don't have any wings to keep up with Roy.

It all is about Jose taking calculated risks. Even Paul Jones the last time I talked with him prior to the OKC game said that Triano needs to convince Jose to take more calculated risks and push the ball.

quarterback for the bears. he's the definition of a game manager. only there not to take risks and make mistakes. jose is becoming a game manager opposed to a point guard.

^he had 4 TO's yesterday with 8 assists.
he is taking risks.
remember in the 4th quarter when jose ran baseline and tried to pass to Kapono at the top of the key?

That's not a risk, that's a bad pass.

Jose's a good point guard. Last year TJ masked Jose's weaknesses and vice-versa.

I think he does need to take some risks, especially in the up-tempo game. But this team has bigger issues.

why do u guys complain when he makes a bad pass or a few turnovers. Its not the end of the world. risks are better then doing nothing. He is Spanish they need a break

+1 for funkie. I've said it all year, hes a HUGE reason why our offence sucks shit. When teams collapse on Oneal and Bosh its Joses turn to run the pick and roll and be aggressive coming off the pick forcing the defence to pick their poison.

Instead he takes 2 dribbles past the pick, picks up his dribble, and lobs it out to Bosh. Its fucking disgusting. And although we've gone over this a million times already, he runs maybe the worst fast break in the history of the league because hes either afraid to go to the basket strong or afraid of making a mistake. When hes one on one in the open court with Sergio Rodriguez he should be driving it right at him forcing him to either foul or give up the layup. Even fucking Brevin Knight does this.

Jose needs to get his head out of his ass and start playing more like last year where he was a major threat on pick and rolls. I dont even care if he doesnt want to take advantage of the 3 on 2s so much, as long as the fucking guy looks to be more aggressive around the picks. It'll make our offence that much better
