Default I Hate the Annual World Tournaments

Am I only one that would like to have these tournaments less often instead of every year? As I mention in the Eurobasket thread a few minutes ago (eurobasket 2009) these summer tournaments seem to do more damage than good.

Apparently now according to our friends from Turkey Hedo is having issues with his knees. Last year it was Jose and his injury woes which many claim were a result of his time with the Spanish National team, so when do team owners, GMs, etc. do something about this? Because after all its our teams and their owners which are investing in these players and not their respective homelands.

Hear hear!

I went on a similiar rant after Jose was injured during the Olympics.
To be honest, I wouldn't care if there weren't so many Raptors involved.

I gotta agree with Doc on this one ever since there was dream team 1 more pro players have been sucked into playing for there home country trying get some glory for there country... I would rather let the lesser players play for there countries instead of sending your go to guys like Bosh, Turk, AB & Calderon we pay good money for them so they should only compete for the raps period.

yearly tournaments should only be for developing players under 18 or something.

Then your superstars can get ready for the olympics.
