Sam Mitchell? OMG why did they let him go. He was sooooooo much better than Triano. If BC thinks there gonna make better progress with Triano over Mitchell, than hes clearly not fit to be a GM. I want Triano outta here so badly. More than i want Bargs. We should have gotten Vinny Del Negro IMO this past offseason.

Wat? hes not a bad coach. Much better than Triano. I would pick Del Negro over Triano anyday of the week. he did great with Chicago and hes doin well with the clippers.

not saying he's not a better coach than Triano, that i'm not going judge because I don't know enough, but last time i checked the clippers have won like 5 more games than the Raptors and he has blake griffin, eric gordon and baron davis to win him games

They're both in bottom 3-5 coaches in the league. If you're gonna get another coach it better damn well be someone better the vinny del negro!

But he has to give up on the pre-conceived gimmicks. He has to chill out and learn to let the players coach themselves a bit. He has a fascination with going to two point guards at the end of games (losing or winning), and his use of zone surprises his own team as often as it does the other team. Often lacking any purpose other than "switching it up". I've also never seen a coach take away so many opportunities in transition with over-anxious timeout requests.
My question to this is, or statement (not sure which right now), is how much of a role does Carlessimo have in dictating the defensive schemes and when they should be used?

As for coaches, again, I'm not entirely against Triano. He's a really smart mind. If I had to take someone though I'd take Nate McMillan since he's a hard ass and would be perfect for a young team and has had some success.
