Default How the Toronto Raptors Measure Up

http://www.hoopsworld.com/Story.asp?story_id=16931

The article has the following lineup...

PG - Jose Calderon
SG - Leandro Barbosa
SF - Linas Kleiza
PF - Ed Davis
C - Andrea Bargnani

Bench - Jack, Weems, DeRozan, Johnson, and Alabi

Clearly, you should expect a

Calderon won't start, he was on the trading block... if anything he will be on the bench and will be traded before the deadline.

Barbosa won't start, he will come off the bench, DeRozan will start.

Kleiza hasn't proved himself to Toronto, nothing can be handed to a player right away, he has to earn it.. so I don't see him being a starter right away

Ed Davis.. he will come off the bench for Amir, definitely won't start.

Hopefully Triano doesn't hand people starting roles right away, if he does he should be fired.

There is no way DeRozan (assuming he's healthy) isn't the starting 2 guard.

Kleiza has more experience then anyone at the SF position, is making almost 5Mil this season and Colangelo said yesterday that baring another addition at that position he'll be the starter.

Jack/Barbosa/Beli/Banks
Derozan/Barbosa/Beli
Kleiza/Weems/Derozan
Bargnani/Amir/Davis
TPE or other Trade?/Amir/Bargnani/Alabi

IMO we'll have a starting Center added and Jose will be gone before the end of summer along with Evans and perhaps Banks.

Its all about the young guys. The progression of Derozan, Sonny Weems stepping up as the defensive stopper and consistency in his game, and Ed Davis getting minutes and play. I like Jarret Jack as the leader, the hustle of Amir, but the rest of the team will be scrapped in 2 or 3 years.

Despite the fact that Jose could very likely be traded before the start of the season, I still feel this would be our best overall line up. (and if not the best defensively, definitely the fastest and most offensive)

PG: Jose Calderon
SG: Demar DeRozan
SF: Linas Kleiza
PF: Amir Johnson
C: Andrea Bargnani

Yes, this is the right lineup
Calderon is our most experienced player, Demar is BC new love, Kleiza is new Garbo

Btw I call right here: Triano will screw up big rotation by not giving Kleiza play 4

Looks real to me assuming Jose is still a Rap.
