How the Raptors can Improve

1. Kill Calderon and put in banks. I want to punch him in the face whenever i see him on the floor. Hes not even a pg and all he does is dribble up to halfcourt then pass it to Bosh or Bargs or anyone who is at the top. HeS an F*ING pg!!!!! FOR GODS SAKE FKING DRIBBLE. I was keeping track of how many times he never dribbled vs GSW and POR. he always passed, and kept jacking up 3s or he would pass or make turnovers and lose momentum. notice when we place Calderon in for jack we get pwned and lose tons of momentum. he is so god damn soft, he willl only dribble if the lane is wide open, and he acts like hes real smart or someething. we dont need a terrible european soft ass pg who gets paid like 9million a season and is sh** at the defensive end. jack is 1000000000000000000x better he can actually penetrate the defence and create plays. When we have like a fast break going, Calderon dribbles past halfcourt then goes back. he ruins our team.
2. TELL Bargs to box out, we have been outrebeed like crazy for the last two games. He is so fking soft too omg. I was so pissed because he is just standing there waiting for the ball to come for him while Bosh his working hard for it.
PUT AMIR OR RASHO IN FOR HIM.
3) Fire Triano. He is f***king stupid!!!! he is in love with Calderon and does not know what he is doing.

Also, they just need to play with some heart. Like they were a good team and now that they are losing they have no emotion. It's just like, let's go out there lay an egg and go home

THANK GOD someone else sees what I see. Jose is THE WORST at fast breaks. Every freaking time they get a chance for an easy bucket Jose will fake it and suddenly pull back out.

You're also right about Jose acting all smart too. Every time he handles the ball he acts like he's calling out plays but inevitably will pass it to Bosh.

I will definitely not miss Jose when he's gone this summer

Calderon istn the problem guys.....
He played well the last two games and looked more comfortable then Jack on the court. He plays with heart every single game. Its just his D.

But when u blame him for his D, then u can blame the whole team.

Really? OK, how do you account then for the fact that Jack got into the game in the 4th quarter with an 8pt deficit and then was for some stupid reason yanked with 4min remaining after helping bring the deficit down to 2. At which point Jose came in, had two turnovers played pathetic D and we ended losing by 11.

the Raptors lack 3 things that the real teams in the league all have

1) Heart - they play the game with no emotion, and no passion

2) Defense - um, stating the very obvious here, we suck!!

3) Plays - surely we can do more than get the ball to CB in the low post 8 out of 10 times!! predictability has become the standard for this team. Every other coach knows we cave when the ball is pressured or pushed up and down the floor with any sort of pace. so, they do and we lose... it's pretty simple to me!

it's too late for returning to the drawing board, we won't end up in the top 10 in the east this season and Bosh will leave and we will have a crappy team left in his wake, time to watch more curling!

Bargs need to rebound way more....Demar needs to stop disappearing after he goes hot...Jack needs to stop running into walls of bodies and lose the ball...Jose needs to keep shooting open shots...Bosh needs to stop turning the ball around and pausing for 10 secs before taking a jump shot....Turk needs to stop getting these weird ass fouls....turk needs to step his everything up....play banks...Weems needs to work on his close outs as he gets too close and commits a foul like once a game...

overall i only liked Weems and Johnson through out the shitfest

Jack is our best PG atm. I know it. And ye its true. When Jack returned on the court we played better.

But Caldy hat a decent third Quarter (like Turk) and Weems as SG saved Joses ass on the defensive end. He dished 5 assists and Turk made 2 3-Pointer out of them. I liked that. He didnt suck. His effort helped us to cut the deficit from 15 to 8.

And come on, Jack had so many horrible TOs the last games...im tired of his crazy drives to the basket. Its fuckin annoying.

So, all of our problems can be traced to Calderon and Bargnani right now? Bargnani I could see (can't rebound worth a lick in a position that requires it) but even that is too simplistic.

How about, we're a piss poor road team, always have been and our best players still don't know how to win on the road and our coach doesn't know how to win on the road either? How about the fact that for many stretches we play 1 on 5 and don't trust each other? These are larger root causes than simply two players.

if jack was that much better than Calderon why the hell did we give up 41 and 43 points in the third against GS and sac with jack starting the second half.

In the first quarters we were always up like double digits. Then came the 2nd quarter jose comes in and ruins up the F**ING TEAM! We lose momentum, and confidence, and they gain TONSSS of confidennce so we suck in the 2nd half.
IMO, jose is not a PG. he is more of a sg who can only shoot.
Whenever jose is on, i notice that we shoot more, and we are terrible at making plays which is why when jose is on the floor we seem to always have to make last second desperate plays before the shot clock runs out.

Jose has to start again. He just can't always come in after the team falls behind. We are so much better when hes leading at the pg its like night and day how the offence runs. We were able to win a third quarter for a change Jay started Jose then goes on record that Jose has been playing darn good. So lets get going get him back as the starter , go over how to rebound with the bigs and we will be good. We played so much better last night but what happened to our lack of rebounding ???

jose can start, that would be just fine. as long as he doesn't finish we have a shot at winning gams.

Jose has been pushing big time. The guy is such a student of the game. He just makes great decisions. Jack has been starting to force the ball inside. Actually playing alittle out of control and noted by Armstrong, Rautins and Delvin. Like i mentioned before about Jack the league and the officials will catch on and he won't get the calls. Hes not as bad as Beli attacking the rim out of control but at times they are the same. But this is not a knock at Jack we need both to play well...right now Jose is bringING it so lets get it done.

Jose = no defense!

Jack = at least a chance at winning!

Hmmm which do I choose if I am the coach?

this team isn't fixable until the season is over.

just like in the beginning of the season, most of us knew this team was defensively challenged. our only hope was for them to play defense, they did, for about 20 games, now it is gone again and the playoffs are about < a month away. not enough time to fix it because there is no more fixes, this team just doesn't want to give effort.

i hope we trade jose, bosh, hedo, and the whole lotta players that don't try to defend.

have fun finishing 9th raptors.

Trade Bosh and Hedo for DEng, Hinrich and pick

trade Hinrich and TPE for Bynum

Hopefully
Trade Bynum and the Chicago pick for Al Jefferson and #2(jeffersons value is as low as it is gonna get, Minny needs a true center.)

Probably:
Jose/Jack/Banks
Demar/Beli
Deng/Weems
Bargs/Amir
Bynum/Rash

Unlikely
Jose/Jack/Banks
Turner/Demar/Beli
Deng/Weems
Jefferson/Amir
Bargs/Rasho
