Default How Many Games Will The Raptors Win Next Year?

Alright, seeing as talk around here as dried up like an African water well, you be the expert and take a guess at how many games the Raptors will win this coming year. This is judged on the basis that the roster will stay as is and the TPE will be used in some kind of mid season trade. Happy Pooling!

PG - Jack/Barbosa/Banks
SG - DeRozan/Barbosa/Bellineli
SF - Kleiza/Weems/DeRozan
PF - Johnson/Davis/Dorsey
C - Bargnani/Anderson/Alabi

I don't know why people are in love with Andersen, he will get waived... he shouldn't even be mentioned in the lineup. Put jones and alabi before him.

I think the Raptors will win 40-50 games, call me crazy but I see potential.

Well jackas.. he IS only going into his sophomore year, maybe he brings some kind of crazy intangibles like his buddy down in Milwaukee. We can only hope.. ;D

35 is much different to 45. This interval has no sense at all.
41 and more means playoff .
Anyway my prediction is not more 37 w. Not for the quality of the roster but due Triano.
He has not enough personality and skill to lead a winning team.

I hope none, I want that first overall pick! Somethin else to help build around. Just go 0-82 and get us our lottery pick, then have the heat fail and go like 10-72 (just everyone gets injured or somethin) and get a top pick from them too!

Heh I know I'm dreaming but hey... it COULD happen

I know, but realized soon after I published the poll that I couldn't edit it.

If the Raptors make the playoffs it'll boost their confidence.. and that is always a good thing. The last thing the Raptors need is a confidence drain.

this thread is kind of pointless because nobody knows what the final roster is going to be
everyone should pull their panties up and wait till opening day....THEN you can make a prediciton

21-25 seems realistic. But if Reggie improves his savage ball groping like I think he will, the win total automatically increases to at least 27.

Were not making the playoffs, so why finish 9th or 10th and get shafted in the draft? Tank it and get a PG or a guy like Cousins, god I would of loved if he was on this team...

20 games as is. You though they were getting lit up on defense last year?

Start picturing the ends of games now, even when they're close.

Now picture them playing Miami, Boston, Orlando, Atlanta, Chicago and milwaukee multiple times.

Now picture them on a couple of west coast road trips.

Now picture these romper room youngsters on the road 41 games.

Now picture them on back to backs.

Now picture them with key injuries.

20 seems about right.....you can always win a good shooting game.

Cultivating confidence has little to do with success in the grand scheme of things. Look at the Celtics: they were absolutely terrible before KG and Allen were acquired. Did they get better because Rondo's and Perkins confidence, or the addition of KG and Allen?

It's like saying the Heat are going to be great because Mario Chalmer's confidence is high; and completely overlooking the acquisition of supreme talent.

The NBA - as with most sports these days - is more about external growth, as opposed to internal growth.
