Default How about stackhouse?

Toronto, Atlanta and Philadelphia appear to be possible and logical fits for Stackhouse. Each is a playoff contender in the Eastern Conference with a need for a battle-tested backup shooting guard/small forward who can hit a 3.

"It's not like I'm asking to play 30 minutes a night," Stackhouse said. "Just 20 minutes a night, every night."
I think he can fit in our team.
Since he wants to be traded we can give them our deep-end bench.

This was talked about already, but I believe a trade of:

Kapono + Joey Graham for Steakhouse would work.

Kapono would have value for a team that (thinks they) are playoff contenders like Dallas, and Joey would be a throw-in. The question is, would we want Stackhouse as he is getting older and less productive...?

He can't get minutes on a team that has just as lame of a 2 guard situation as we do. It would take parker/ kapono + joey to get that done. Not worth it

Hes so injury prone again. With the lack of quality swingmen we have, if Stack goes down, we're screwed

Stackhouse was a good player but he is in the same situtation as Parker aging and can't be too productive any more. He will get to the line so maybe that makes him better than all our wings

It can benefit Parker. You can see Parker, need rest, because of his legs.
If his tired, his shot missed.

And plus, Stackhouse and Parker can split minutes.
Just like he said he just wants 20 minutes.

He can shoot the ball, he can shoot the 3, he can get to the free throw line.
and his contract expires at 2010. it gives for space to sign players.

yeah ... so was michael jordan [an all star] ...

why do you think green and now walker are starting before stack? Think he slept with Cuban's wife or something? Obviously if Dallas is placing Green before him on the depth chart, there's something seriously wrong with the guy.

There's nothing wrong. They just want to develop Green and Wright.
And it better than the scums that we have now.
Atleast he can slash. Shoot 3's, get to the free throw line. and if he can do that 20 minutes a game, then he's better than our scums for sure.

If you think AP is showing age, so is Stack. He used to be a valuable asset but he's declining incredibly quickly.

Seriously, I don't get this Stack talk at all. People complain about AP getting slower and think that Stack is going to come in and not have the same thing said about him? Plus, he can be a bit of a baby sometimes in the locker room. He's well on his way down, let him keep rolling.

dallas has no interest in developing anybody right now, the only reason they've traded a very good young player in harris for kidd is to win NOW. Not to mention that until recently they were near the bottom of the conference.
