I found this interesting - at the bottom of the column

Quote:
Riley's deal expires next summer and while Riley has set the team up to be huge free agent players, he's also quietly extended the contracts of all of his coaches and scouts giving them an extra year of security even if his deal is not renewed. Riley refuses to label himself as part of the 2010 free agent class, but there is almost no doubt that a team looking to make a splash could nab Riley with an excessively lucrative offer. Riley did what he set out to do in Miami – he brought them a championship - the question is will HEAT owner Mickey Arison get a deal done to keep Riley in South Beach beyond this season?

If Riley leaves the HEAT, so will Dwyane Wade and that's a game changer for Miami.
Let's go get Riles AND Wade.

You think that slimy, slick-back haired Riley would want to live in Toronto?

if we have a good season and re-sign Bosh, i see no reason why he AND Wade (providing we can afford him) wouldnt want to come here.

U realize...

Raps this year + Bosh + Wade = Championship for sure...

but i have a feeling that that wont happen...

unless wade decides to sign for the mle or the veteran's minimum, it would be impossible for that to happen.

you could trade Bargs and Caldy and/or Hedo to Miami plus a pick
people here think Beans+Ellis is good value for Bosh, so it should work

I would trade anyone outside of Bosh for Wade in a heartbeat.

That's a no-brainer IMO.

Id even trade Bosh for wade. Then trade caldiron for a solid center and let jack be the starting point gaurd but that would never happen.

If we don't get off to a good start I'm going to panic. And first thing will be the coaching .. Then Bosh . We are not one of thoese teams that can turn it on or off. Bosh for kd ...

What a harsh reply. Is there really a need for that?
Okay I took what you said the wrong way I apologise. But you have to admit Bosh for wade isnt that crazy espacially considering wade is always at risk for injuries Bosh might outlast him in the nba. There has to be a gm in the leauge that might do that deal if they had decent gaurd play which i know miami does not so it wouldnt happen.

Bosh has been threatening to leave since day one. Some say, he even has considered GS over Toronto.
Wade is in the same category with LeBron and Kobe, and they ll most probably stay within the borders of US of which unfortunately, Bosh has been dreaming of. Which is sad and IMO ridiculous. Toronto is a great market however a championship or at least a final series will be needed to acquire players of that calibre.
And no friend, you dont need to apologise.
Bosh is considering goldenstate? I thought it was just crazy rumors
