Default HoopsAddict.com Interview with Will Solomon

The more and more I read about this guy, the more intrigued I'm getting for this season and how he fits this team. Not implying by any means that he's going to take the league by storm, but I think he'll fit in nicely with the Raptors this season and probably contribute more than some think.

Ryan McNeill from HoopsAddict.com had a chance to chat with Will. Click the link at the bottom to read the entire interview.

Solomon: I think with my age and playing there for quite some time, I think it was the time for me to come back and it was a great opportunity (to sign with Toronto). I donít want to take this opportunity for granted. I just want to come in, work hard, take every step slowly and learn from the guys that have been here and hopefully we can be successful.

So unlikely, I wouldn't even use such a comparison.

By the time Parker moved back to the NBA, he was one of the most decorated players in Euroleague. Will Solomon has never enjoyed that kind of success overseas and he plays a much harder position on the floor.

I think he's more of a shooter than playmaker. He'll be the opposite of Calderon.. but he's put up some pretty impressive numbers while playing in the Euroleague. With his experience, it can't hurt (hopefully).

Well, the absence of emoticons in your post didn't help - it's hard to realize the sarcasm of the remark when there are no overtones to go by.

Here's a pretty good Will Solomon mix I saw over at the RealGM.

He's quite fast and has great court vision and passing in traffic. I can see him being behind Jose and ahead of Roko.
Pull-up threes are a liability tho
