Speaking as a city, I love Dallas. I didn't even want to come back. It was cold there all weekend. It was like being in Toronto. The locals were complaining. It was jokes.

The experience on a whole was pretty awesome.
Friday night did the Rookie-Sophmore game - Blair got jobbed. He should have been MVP. I know those games are meaningless and shinny like, but a few of those guys stood out -Westbook, Evans, Blair, Jennings. Lopez was like a huge pylon. Beasley was lazy. He would just walk back on defense.
The American Airlines Centre is bananas. Their concourses put the ACC's to shame in terms of being more aesthetically pleasing. At times I thought I was at the MGM Grand in Vegas. Beers are just as expensive. Boo-urns.

Saturday went to the NBA Fanfest at the Dallas Convention Centre. Met Brandon Jennings, Eric Snow, Kevin Durant, Omri Casspi, Rajon Rondo, Chris Kaman and JYD. Saw the HORSE competition. I was cheering so loud for Casspi. So was my whole section. Charles Barkley is so much fatter in person. Went to a Josh Howard-Kenyon Martin party that night. It was total darkness. Saw Jamie Foxx there.

At the game on Sunday, Cowboys stadium is so huge. It took my buddy and I a good 25-30 minutes to walk around the stadium. The screens in the stadium are massive. It was almost surreal to be there and see that many people. Bosh and Deron Williams got some loud ovations, but the loudest by far were for Wade, Lebron, Dwight Howard, Kobe, Chris Paul, Kidd, Nowitzki and KD. I was repping (yelling more like it) Toronto and Bosh so much, the people around me started cheering for Bosh more as well. We booed when Wade won the MVP.

awesome MK. I remember seeing Charles once when I went to a game at the ACC and TNT set up across the Media row. He didn't look that fat but maybe he gained a few more since then

Yeah, I saw him one time too. He was shooting 3's before the broadcast and he didn't look all that big, but that was also about 9 or 10 years ago.

Thanks Hoops. Sounds like a good time.

How could I forget the highlight of my trip? Back in the day I was a huge Knicks fan. I was at the NBA shop at fanfest and who did I see? John Starks. He was promoting his new line of basketball apparel and was gracious enough to sign a few items for me, take a photo or two and take a few minutes to chat. I was on cloud 9 the rest of the day.

You also couldn't find a Bosh all-star jersey anywhere in the city. Same goes for Deron Williams -and they were the local kids.

Man..... I would LOVE an All-Star Bosh jersey.

Didn't realize that Deron was a Texas kid.

Sounds like it was a blast dude!

try centre sports. I'd go sometime after July 8th when they'll probably be on discount (along with all other Bosh apparel)
