If theyre 1-10 without Bargnani then probably much worse. Maybe wins in the single digits. Bargnani is our leadin scorer, and even though he doesnt defend nor rebound, he still gives us offense, which seem to be not that great when hes not around. Without him our offense becomes even more limited than it already is. Maybe not a lot of wins, but our team changes completely when hes not playing.

Im not sayin that at all. What im saying is that that u shouldnt base how the team will play better without Bargnani on 1 game. We would have a much worse record than the cavs and have wins in the single digits. Without Bargnani our offense lags and limits our options even more than with him. Ppl sayin how we should trade Bargnani for a center that plays defense or etc.. our defense mite get better but our offense will drop considerably if that happens. Also considerin how only a few of our players actually play defense it wouldnt even matter if we got a center that could play defense, our offense would still be bad.

Did it seem like we had problems scoring these last 2 games (against 2 very good defensive teams)?

There is no way in hell that we'd have wins in the single digits without Bargs.... no way... unless our entire roster suffered season-ending injuries.

We're not great but we're not THAT bad.

"Flu symptoms", "sore ankle".. or rather sore ego from previous match ups. Impossible to prove, but when we come up against strong front court Andrea gets one of the "symptoms".
Well he can watch from the left block or from the bench, his impact on D is the same. I wouldn't play him at all for the rest of the season, so the scouts aren't more convinced about his "talents".
Tonight's victory just shows how little* you need to succeed if every one is pulling in the same direction and pulling their weight.
*- basically no low post presence.

Thats my entire point. Ur basin what this team can do with only 2 games of evidence. Not to mention they are more chill and calm now that they know theres no playoff race for them. It doesnt matter if they make mistakes. Watch them for an entire season without bargnani, and then well see what happens.

Also not to mention that both teams already clinched playoff spots.

Scapegoat? I don't think i see that the same way. If he gave consistent effort and seemed to be improving then this calling for his head wouldn't be so loud. His numbers other then PPG have dropped quite a bit while playing more minutes. Add to that his total lack of accountability and effort on the defensive and his comments to that side of the floor and i understand why there's backlash to Bargnani. One thing this city hates is a lazy athlete. We were always told that patience was needed with Bargnani, but with that we expected improvement especially in his defficiencies (ie: Defense, Blocks, rebounds) and instead that's all gone down this season. If he at least showed he cared to get better then it would be more accepted, but he doesn't show that.

Elton Brand
Dan Gadzukic
Rasheed Walllace
Stephan Jackson
Pryzbilla
Turkeyglue
J J Reddick

These are players in the East making within 1 million or so the same as Bargs.

I will take Bargs over every single one of the them any day of the week.

Lets not overestimate, what this 20ppg + scorer is costing us.

and defense schmefense....we get lit up without him.

Did you ever think there's more to it than we know?

He played the same way his second season in which he was riddled with injury and illness.

if this was his second year, people wouldn't be so hard on him and i wouldn't mind if people made excuses as to why he's playing the way he is. but the fact of the matter is, over his career he hasn't earned the reputation for us to give him the benefit of the doubt.
the fans here have been more than patient and in his first few years, we made excuses for him, we gave him the benefit of the doubt.

It's true, we need to trade him for someone averaging over 20ppg, grabbing 10 boards, getting 6 blocks a game, AND shutting down the other teams centre.

Him, and our second rounder this year should do it.
