We're 1-10 without him because the rest of our team sucks too, but at least they compete harder as a unit when hes out.

You're going to lose no matter what when you have a PG rotation of Bayless/Barbosa and a SF rotation of Weems/Johnson.

I agree that yesterdays game was entertaining and the defense hustled, but in the end we lost and the last time we won the game with Bargs in. Not saying we won because of him.
One game doesn't make a trend. It wsa nice to see the young guys playing fairly well. Especially Bayless ...
Either way Bargs isn't our franchise player and we should stop not expecting him to be.

1-10 without him. Yes we might compete harder, but he's the best player on the team right now, and we still gave up 113 points yesterday.

What I'd rather see is a change in GM so we can actually shop Bargs around.

I think everyone enjoys watching this team play without Bargnani.

And we are 1-10 without him? Hell I'd rather take us playing hard every single game and our young gunz developing than to see Bargs coast through shit. We might've actually had a top 3 pick for sure coming into the summer.

I wouldn't even mind Bargs taking the rest of the season off just to see MORE of what these guys got.

Amir, Ed, DeMar, James and Bayless are winners and have winning attitudes.

If only we had listened to Chris Bosh and selected Lamarcus who was his choice for a front court partner. We would have had some good defensive length to go with all of Bosh's offence. Chris would probably still be here and we certainly wouldn't have sucked like we did all those years. It's clear that defence, rebounding and toughness has been the biggest problem areas of this organization for the better part of a decade. All these are attributes that Andrea contributes ABSOLUTELY NOTHING towards.

The hardest fought game in Raptors history. Ironic eh?

The play that will always stick in my mind is the Julian Wright backcourt dive to save the ball with a slap on the ass and a helping hand from Triano, even though he didn't save it. Just pure heart..

I honestly think BC would be willing to deal Bargnani this summer. And I wouldn't be shocked if he was moved. It all depends on what the offers would be.

It's not that I'm thinking he can get better all you can do is hope...There are times in everyones life were things just start to click & they become what they become...

For AB it's all about effort & if he isn't giving it take him out of the game for longer periods of time & let the 3 other PFs on our team play...Once again JT has to start giving his players a reason to fight for minutes period. Most of all AB!

Before ppl start goin into trade talks and etc.. just note it was only 1 game. Try seein how the Raptors would be without Bargnani for a whole season.

The Raps are 20-55 right now with 7 games remaining.... how much worse do you honestly think they could get?

you make it sound like we are competing for a championship....we are one of the worst teams in th league....whats the worst that can happen? we get a higher draft pick?

but i dont know who we could get back in return...maybe a high draft pick up coming year + expiring deals?...at this point i would be willing to take that...

i fully agree. as long as the expiring deal is a useful player (ie no more Marcus Banks BS) i would be more than happy to move Bargs.

I really do wonder though how he would have done with a Center next to him like i dono... maybe Tyson Chandler....

Especially considering he'd have to be replaced, hopefully with someone who rebounds and defends. Enough with bigs being our main option. We need to score from the wing and PG positions. Draft Irving, Walker, Barnes or Jones and replace Bargnani with a defensive Center and go from there.

I'm curious to hear what your thoughts on these past 2 games are.... because I think that this team WITHOUT Bargs has been MILES better than when he's been in the lineup. The ball keeps moving and guys keep attacking and defending. The effort is like night & day.

he is, no question. we need him back a.s.a.p cause' tanking mode isn't in full-effect without him in the lineup.
