The majority of the league makes more than they miss anyway, and getting to the line makes a huge difference for a player and a team (see: Wade, Dwyane vs. Mavericks, Dallas)

The more FTA's for a player the better, regardless of whether they hit or miss, so that system seems a little flawed to me.

Yes, but why?

I don't see how that's any more legitimate than subtracting 37.5% of rebounds or soemthing.

It's still lowering a players total for doing a good thing.

But it also lower the Fouls given as well as it only uses 50% of that.

Honestly I would assume it is to make the numbers more manageable and take out the posibility of intentional fouls and techs.

I have yet to find out why they only take 63% of free throws attempted

AP will still be playing the bulk of the minutes and Hassan Adams will be coming off the bench,so AP will still be asked to defend the best player on the other team.

Jeff I agree 100% I just would like for AP to be able to take a break from it for 8 to 10 mins a night, thats where adams comes in

Yep - and again - he's going to be able to lock in on his guy more with JO and CB behind him. Mentally that will give him a bigger boost than Adams can give him.

I meant to make the distinction just as I hit the reply button. You're right. The overall combination should be nice. I expect a little more from AP and the other wing players this season.

I think they're fine too. Parker and Moon don't put up flashy offensive numbers, but they're both excellent role players and above average defenders who can rebound well for their position.
