Neither Colangelo or Casey seem to be fans of Ed Davis, so you can pencil him coming off the bench for the foreseeable future.

boo hoo.

Ed got plenty of run in the fourth last game... he didn't add much to that collapse. He needs to bring it every game, like many others.

I wonder if Casey's implementation of Bargnani at the 3 point line is the reason he's not getting to the line more.

I mean think about it, the last 2 years he was operating low post, and getting to the line a lot more. This year he's taking more 3' than freethrow attempts.

Something ain't right

I've said this before too. it doesn't make sense to put an elite mid post player on the 3 point line where he's average.. yeah we want to make space for lowry, but arguably Bargnani is a better offensive player than lowry. why not have some plays where lowry and Bargnani work together, rather than sticking one on the 3 point line for an outlet? we can have a nash nowitsky think going here, to a lower extent, but we friggin refuse to!!

I agree... but a lot of that is on Bargnani... he needs to start imposing his will. He can't allow this coach to push him so far out while others benefit... he needs to get his groove going, get some easy 2-5 footers, really add the versatility to his game that he used to flash. This team needs AB to be at his best or we're going to continue to flounder.

THIS!!!

We've completely become predictable. Iso's every time on the perimeter. It's so gross. We're not making anybody work on D. Time to drop AB down low, then swing him out and allow DD and Lowry to start punishing, but don't leave AB out there too long.

I would love for someone to interview Casey and just ask him what exactly consists of Random offence.

I remember earlier in the year he said that with JV now at Center, Bargnani would be placed further from the basket as a 3 point threat, to open the floor for other players.

Problem is over the years Bargnanis 3 point shooting has regressed, as he's refined his game to include mid range and post up. Last year when he was beasting, he wasn't only shooting 3's, if anything that was just an additional threat. This year his 3 point shooting is suppose to be his #1 weapon on offence which is just stupid.
