Hollinger: Nothing out of the ordinary with the refs

Why am i not surprised?

I watched last nights Raptors and Magic and as an unbiased watcher that officiating was embarassing and makes me less of a NBA and shows me that officiating is gonna ruin this league

Not sure who's feed you were watching but I saw it start to finish and didn't see anything terribly out of the ordinary.

How about those Raps! Any chance they go long term with Jack starting and Jose off the bench? When TJ was here, it worked well for Calderon - in the past he's said he doesn't care who starts.

I suspect Jack will remain the starter for as long as they keep playing well. If they hit a snag or forget how to play defense again then he might go for the switcheroo. By the way, I believe last night was the first time I've seen Toronto play Hedo at 4 for extended periods ... worked pretty good against Orlando, even though it necessitated playing Antoine Wright at times, and we might see it more now that Triano can go Jack-Jose in the backcourt.

He should go fuck himself. Like how the fuck does Bargs getcalled for 4 fucking foulls in one quarter? Is that a joke? Like D12 had 5 fouls and didn't even get called for his sixth when it was pretty obvious he shoulda been. It's a piss off having to watch crap like that

Hollinger is either blind or a fucking idiot. Probably the second option.

I missed the middle part of the game so does that mean I didn't see Hedo at the 4?
I think he was only the 4 for the last minutes when Bargs fouled out

perhaps interpret it like this:

I saw it start to finish and didn't see anything terribly out of the ordinary

translation: the [biased] officiating, such as it is, as witnessed by all that watched toronto v orlando is commonplace; unbiased officiating, otherwise knows as "fair", would be out of the ordinary.

Even though the officiating was bad, The raps weren't doing anything to try to change it, they played pretty bad in the fourth, luckily time ran out

Talking

Clearly all the fans who watched the game and noticed the bad officiating are wrong and this guy is right, there was nothing wrong with the way the fourth quarter was handled by the refs last night... hmm my sarcasm meter appears to have broken

the reason why we weren't doing anything to change is because Bargs our best player htat night got 4 quick fouls,

had he been in the game it could have been a different story

Hedo got the first foul called on Orlando somewhere in the 2 minute or less mark

your telling me they played 10 minutes without the refs calling one call against orlando, their defence was the great?

it frustrating to watch,

Orlando gets the calls, anybody watch Portland vs Orlando a few weeks back,

Unfortunately, the same problems have and will come up in the playoffs again. The raps always get the short end of the stick. I guess Donaghy was right after all......

He isn't allowed to say anything against the league or he'll lose his job. Even if he works at ESPN.

hollinger doesn't actually see people when he watches the game. it's just numbers falling down his tv screen like in the matrix.

perhaps he is implying that the refereeing is just bad in general, therefore nothing last night was unusual?
