Default Here we go again....

How long til ppl really rag on Jose, how long til they realize his D is still horrid, he slows down the offense to a crawl, he has little to no impact on games, other then his freethrows and assist/turnover ratio, but thats all misleading, he is definately in the bottom tier of starting PGs in the league at this moment, i hope he can turn it around, but i think this is what we are getting, what happens when you judge a 27 year old on 2 months of allstar performance in a 4 year span and just assume thats what you will be getting.

Flame away.

I have agreed with much of that and It makes me laugh how so many people are waking up to the fact that Jose although a great guy is not as a good a point guard as people thought he was. People are jumping off the Jose Bandwagon at an alarming rate. I just hope nobody is injured.

Its really funny that the guys that want to throw Jose under the bus were TJ supporters. How is TJ doing guys ? Ask the question would other teams take Jose on their team ? The answer is yes. Is Jose our MVP,,,??? this team goes as Jose goes.????..thats what thriller , ugo first and some others think. Guys just enjoy the game we have a good core of players. We are only one player away.If we had one player at the 2 or 3 that could create his own shot we would easily be in the top 3 in the east.

I still like Jose. He's 3rd in the league in assists (I know, I know "Deceiving"??? lol),Best FT shooter in the league, second in the league in assists to TO's.Give him some better more competent wing players with balls and he'd be even better.Right now AB,AP,Moon,Joey have all been inconsistant. The team around him just isn't very good or the least bit deep.H e can only be as good as his team allows him to be and he is as of now the least of our problems by far.His defence i spotty at best, but that goes to the team as a whole for the most part.

And let's not start the crap of saying he's supposed to make his teammates better, because he's playing with a bunch of scrubs for the most part.Plus i highly doubt that he's going anywhere, so what's the point?

our ball movement is poor. i don't think jose is too responsible for others not passing or doing so too slowly. we've gotten away from the team ball that propelled us from the lottery to the playoffs. bring back that style and i think jose will look a lot better.

it doesn't seem like we're even doing much of the two-man game that was successful for us last year, either. everything is get it into Bosh and wait. maybe that's slowly changing with jay but we're still not as good as we were.

i'd like jose to push the pace more, too. but we need others to run with/ahead of him to make it work.

we're just not very good. and the toronto fanbase will always look for a body to lynch.

Who are these teams pining for Jose?? Dont fool yourself, he is decent...

i dont want to bring back the thread "Is Jose the best PG in the East?" and alot of you guys saying "yeS", nobody would dare say that now, he isnt even the best PG in the atlantic, hell, we thought we had some super advantage over Orlando last year, but truth is Turtle boy > Jose aswell (and yes, he is better then TJ aswell).

So let me get this, its just the team around him? But you brag about him being better then TJ, do you think TJs team around him is better then ours? Get real.

Ugo you just don't get it .Have you ever played this game ? I respect what you say because its an opinion. Jose is not the problem and thats my opinion. You got to open up your eyes and not base opinions on feelings through the heart. Our 2 and 3 spot is the issue...how often does a starter that plays 32 minutes at the 2 position and gets a goose egg in pts ? It must be because of Jose so lets throw him under the bus ? lol

^thats what im thinking.
he slashes, defends and thats pretty much what we need from a wing.
they have Boris Diaw and Raja Bell and the Bobcats have been thinking about shopping Wallace for a while now.

and he's injury prone, not that great at creating off the dribble, expensive and overrated.

oh, and btw, who exactly would we trade for him?

Wallace will help our defence but our offence would be even worse.

We need a guy who can score when we have droughts and make shots, and big shots off the dribble to open up our offence when teams collapse on the big boys. When we get this character we wont be losing anymore 10 pt leads. Wallace is not this guy.

he hasn't missed a game this season, so lets not talk about how he's injury prone. it was the same thing with O'Neal and he's missed only 3 games.
i wouldn't say he's overrated, hes never even been to an all-star game considering hes one of the best perimeter defenders in the league.
our guys don't even need to create their shot, they just need to give it to Bosh or O'Neal and when the double comes to them, pass it back out for an open shot.

possibly throwing a 1st or second rounder in there as well.

why would the cats make that trade? it makes no sense for them at all. if all we need iis for someone to take shots out of the double team, why don't we use kapono for that? is he not the perfect guy for that role?

and 'one of the best perimeter defenders in the league'? that's exactly what i mean by overrated.

Anyone who asks that question doesn't watch this team very often? Hello, he's not an answer, true but he'd be a huge upgrade at that spot!Have you looked at our roster lately? We'd be lucky to get Gerald Wallace with what we're trying to peddle!
