I believe a blow like that would be a good thing for our "superstar". I think it would definitely bring him back to the form he showed in the first month of the season. Also, it might open his eyes to the fact that he is not a Lebron or a Wade. He makes nobody around him better and registers the quietest 20 and 10 I've ever seen. He NEEDS a chip on his shoulder. He's got so many people in his ear right now telling him all about the greener pastures of the NBA. The truth is that Damon and Vince, the only two players that left Toronto at the top of their games, faded into relative obscurity when they left. They had nowhere near the individual success in another situation and you can see how much they miss it here whenever they come back.

I am for trading this guy and getting back as much as we possibly can. He's not a game changer and if your star isn't that type of player, I think the Raps or any team would be far better served spending their max money on depth instead of in one place like the Pistons did when they won. Portland and Golden State have stockpiles of young talent.

It could possibly make him understand that he isn't great and he has to work harder to get to where he wasnt to get to, but I highly doubt he won't make it

while i disagree with your overall sentiment and feeling about Chris Bosh, i can apreciate your opinion, griff.

you make pretty good points abuot Damon and Vince.

Howver, should we really believe what the U.S. media is saying? I find it hard to think they know something we all don't.

I can't see CB4 being left off the AS Roster. He's too talented a forward in the East not to be named to the squad. The stats prove it.

I'm really not trying to bash him. He is a very good player, but I don't believe him to be in the same class as a dwight howard, lebron, wade, etc. He doesn't take over games and I think if you give max money to a guy like that, you end up in a stagnant situation like milwaukee. I think they have talented players but can't do anything because they're handcuffed by redd's contract.

He is an incredible second option player, but I don't think he can be an MVP type of guy. I hope he stays and makes me eat these words, but I just don't think I'm wrong about this. KG and Ray Allen are the same type of player and couldn't get it done alone.

Of all of Bosh's doubters, you're the best one, Griff!

You think ORL goes to D12 in a tight game in the 4th? Ummmm... nope. It's Lewis, Nelson or Hedo.. guys who can CREATE.

Once again.... you're asking for Bosh to act like a superstar guard when he's a big.

He's got a big ego, if he's left off maybe he'll come down to earth a bit.

I would give the ball to Dirk, Pau, KG, West, Bargs and Jefferson in late game situation before Bosh. Bosh does nothing but shoot really well and drive the odd time. He gets a good bit of love from the refs so he gets to the line alot. But he also loses dribbles off his own feet, allows great passes to bounce off his chest, misses alot of defensive rotations, and refuses to box out.

No Bosh is a very good player, he gets allstar numbers, but he isnt a basketball god.

Bosh is very good, good enough to be the best PF in the East at 24.

Come on ... this is getting more and more stupid. So we're to treat him like a child now and take away his privileges?

Give your heads a shake guys, he's one of the top forwards in the Eastern Conference. And you guys think he should be left off the all-star team?

I'm not talking about crunch time. As pointed out in earlier posts, Lebron's percentage with the game on the line is atrocious!
My question is if he is a game changer in the vein of a HOWARD, Wade, Lebron, Pierce, Kobe, Dirk... ? Does he deserve max money if he cannot dominate a game?

Think of what these players have done to Raptor teams throughout the years and whether or not Bosh has had any games like that.

Tying up our MAX money is the issue and if you plan to do that you better make damn sure said player is worth it or you will suffer for years

Time to sober up buddy.

KG, Brand(when healthy), Jamieson, Rashard Lewis----all better than Bosh.

Oh. Forgot about Lee, who this season is playing as a better PF than Bosh.

He doesn't have a big ego. He sets his own expectations high so he can fight to get there. I can't remember that last time he said something that showed he had a big ego
