Default Help get glued letters off my jersey!

Hello all,

I bought a Raptors jersey at the beginning of last season and with all the hype and hoopla, i bought a O'Neal... i know, silly me. Now that's he's gone i was told Centresports will put a new name on it, free of charge if i can get the current numbers and letters off. I thought that was cool until i realized they glued the letters and numbers on it. Doesn't seem right since they charge the same for the sewn no ones.

So anyways, i am desperate to get this name and number off so i can put a new one one... any ideas of how i should go about doing that?

Thanks a lot!

Welcome to RF

I can't be of much help, though. I think you should just walk around in JO jersey

Maybe you could google it?

convinced that Raptors fans are only happy when they're unhappy.

Welcome by the way.

I would take the jersey to a screen printer to see if they have any ideas.

Good luck!

Give up and wear it as is. You won't get those off without ruining the jersey. Sorry.

You could try to sell it...Although I'm not too sure many people would be interested.

I've never personally bought a Jersey, but I was very tempted at the end of McGrady's last season to get his, even though, and precisely because, he was going to leave. It's nice to have something of an artifact. Keep the name on there.

i can't remember who said it (i believe it was our dear leader jay) but this was the best idea yeat: you can just add an 'f' at the beginning and an 'r' over the 'n' and make it say fo' real...

Oh ya, I remember that. I was the one who asked if you could do anything with JO's name.

It happens. I get that. Everyone is allowed to be unimpressed at any given time. But there's just no need to fall into a black hole. You got the opportunity to say I told you so, but by that point nobody cared. If Ugo is right this this time about his impending doom scenario, then you can probably tell him yourself that it doesn't mean much to anyone.

And sorry about what is really an unfair comparison, since you didn't go out of your way to call everyone that didn't see your viewpoint as a dumb homer or some equivalent.

continual poor spelling in every post is a major symptom of stupidity, see a teacher...

LX im not calling everybody a homer... but dont you find it a bit weird that suddenly the whole consenus on this forum is we are top 4 team, without even seeing this team on the floor?? What do you base this on besides your love for the team, because anybody outside of Toronto doesnt see it this way.... but i know, it's all the "american media bias" nobody ever picks toronto... expect in past years i have seen MANY american outlets pick toronto, esp in the VC days and even after our overachieving Smitch year. But let me guess, those ppl are just haters, and they dont know ball like us raptor fans do, we know a winner when we see it, cuz we have seen so many.

also, this new guy asked for it... calling me out. but let me guess, that dont matter, only if i do it

The only difference is once the deal was done and some time went by i got excited to see what would happen with JO in the lineup. And when it clearly didn't work i wasn't really doing the i yold you so too much. I pointed it out a little, i'm entitled to say that, why not, right? But once the players are brought in and the moves are made i move on and usually get behind it and am anxious to see the results, after all i'm a fan first and formost and want the Raps to win.
