Exclamation Hedo's Hip

As originally reported by our very own jeffb, there was something wrong with Hedo.

Quote:
And now, Toronto gets its endurance test: four games in six days out West. Hedo Turkoglu, who hurt his hip on a layup attempt late in the game, is questionable for Friday's game against the Clippers.
LINK - National Post

So who's going to get the call at SF?

I guess my money would have to be on Wright.

More minutes for Wright and Derozan. This is where it really helps to be a deep team.

Hopefully Hedo is back soon though and we still pick up the W against the clips.

Well, this is definitely a blow to the team, but it does give some guys a chance to step up. Wright will probably start and get an extra 8-10 minutes of playing time. I hope the other extra 20-25 minutes get distributed between Belli and DD.

Yeah, but I also really hope Sonny gets 10ish minutes. I think he'll surprise people if given the playing time.

I'd like to see Weems get the start and keep everyone else in their normal role.

Hedo hasn't looked himself virtually all season. There is something not being said about Hedo and I'm glad he'll wear street close for a bit to get right.

I would like to see what Weems can do.

He looked great in preseason after all. Obviously i'd keep him on a short leash, and make sure he only does what he's supposed to, but he could be of some help to the team.

it should be DeRozan at SG and Wright at the 3
I want to see some more of Amir playing center against LAC because of Kaman and Camby, both can rebound well

i like the
Jose
Demar
Sonny
Bosh
Bargnani

jay started a game with and won in the preseason i dont remember which team but the Raptors really killed the opposing team that night and i have a feeling it might work well, but the turkoglu hip thing is a bad...especially with important games coming up against clippers, suns, utah

Thanks make one grammatical mistake and potentially the whole thread goes offtopic because of it.

Well no biggie its not like any thread stays on topic anyways.

Not at all...the guy can ball. He's earned time in my opinion from his preseason play. There's no risk...you put him in and if he's not getting the job done, you sub in like you would if Hedo were struggling.

Doesn't mean he has to finish the game either...play him like you are DD.

hedo is just out of shape, was out of shape to start the season for orlando last season. just look at the guy, doesn't have a hint of muscle tone, just a big slug that can hit fadaway's and steal dimes from Calderon while turning the ball over at a higher rate

so glad the raps signed him, specially for 5 years over 10 per

BAHAHAHA

See in Toronto he can't hide but in Orlando every now and then he could dissappear on the court and let lewis, Jameer and Howard take over the game.

Now you get posts like this totally dogging the guy LOL

I think we'll see jack at the 2 and derozan at the 3. Marco will get the rest of the minutes at the PG position
