Default Headbands?

Quote:
Like the Bulls, Heat, Raptors and Jazz, the Magic have a team rule that prohibits the wearing of headbands by its players during games.

Found that bit of information interesting. Is it true?

No.

Mo, VC, JYD and TJ have wore them in the past.

O'Neal and Adams have been wearing them in every preseason game.

I remember him with it.

But that's just me!

I heard of something like this in the past... and for the life of me i can't understand why headbands would be not allowed. Are they reflective of gang culutre or something? I mean they're freaking heabands - made to absorb sweat... what's the big deal about them.

yeah - I never undestood that either, it seems a rather ridiculous thing to ban.

Butch Carter used to say it made the NBA look like a 'rec league'. I agree.

Yeah, shame on him for being the only player on the team last year with any balls, who didn't back down and let himself be bullied.

I seem to remember Bosh throwing the ball at Bogut, or was that the year before.

If I recall correctly Bogut tried tripping Bosh at the end of a meaningless game and TJ went after Bogut.

Yeah I think your right.

Oh well, Bargs is all man now, he will crush anyone who gets outta line.

Actually I think JO and Adams/Solomon will more than bring the tough TJ took with him.
