I doubt the Warriors do this but I wish they would...even though I love Amir, Barnes has great potential.

Barnes would be great....curious, whom would you want on the bench? Tross, DD or Barnes?

Don't really like the idea of keeping all of DD/Ross/Barnes. Should trade DD in the offseason if we get Barnes, I really think Ross and Barnes can be made into really good starters, hence the reason I want them to play a lot of minutes. I think they can be much better than sixth man type players(for whoever would've came off the bench). Trade DD for a David West kind of PF(not as crazy as it sounds now) and we have a nice starting lineup.

I keep thinking of Ross' 51 point game and keep thinking he can be better than a sixth man. His skills obviously aswell.

If DD can be traded for a two way power forward who you can dump to and have faith he can come up with something more often than not, but can also pull his own weight defensively so we don't miss amir's effect on defence so Much on a similar contract for DD then sure I'd do it. But who comes to mind like that?

It's better to have a log jam of bigs than guards

Well depends on your definition of guards - they're wings. However DD is almost purely a SG. Barnes is purely a SF with GSW sometimes using him as a PF given whom they have at SF. TR can play both but is more suited to SG.

Trade DD and 2016 NYK 1st for love, Amir for Barnes and Jonas, Hayes, salmons and our 1st for embiid

Then don't forget rondo for Lowry and our 2016 1st

Rondo
Ross
Barnes
Love
Embiid

We'd be legendary

You're really gonna compare a 2nd year player on a rookie contract, who has shown a ton of potential but is not getting opportunities because he plays behind Iguodala who is majorly important for GS, to a 27ish SF on a max contract who was traded for cap room?

Really?

Passive?? Ross dropped 51 points in his sophomore season. Barnes is only 21.

How was DD in his second season? No jump shot, no ball handles, no defense, no aggressiveness to the basket.

Meh,Barnes isn't coming here...quite happy with Ross and DeRozan for now anyway. We have good chemistry with Amir too,Harrison might have ruined all that

Just a thought, if we got Barnes for Amir.

Not that I do or don't want DD. But could we swing him for Monroe after? I wouldn't mind that so much.

Lowry
Ross
Barnes
Monroe
Val

I like it for future years.

Didn't like the trade for Gay and said so at the time. Didn't like this possible trade for Barnes. So, yeah, really.

We need a guy that can score buckets in the paint, but that front court would be a defensive cataclysm. Monroe, like Val, is a slug guarding the pick and roll. The only way Monroe fits, in my mind, is trading Val and sliding Monroe into the center slot. But then you're giving up on a young center in favor of a guy putting up four more points on similar efficiency and a higher usage rate and 0.1 more rebounds. And you're probably paying Monroe 8 figures vs Jonas' rookie scale. Not worth it to me.

DD had a great midrange shot in his second season, and good aggresiveness his second season. different strengths, and different weaknesses, for both players, in their second years.
