When is it time? I think right now its still too soon, but what do you think is a reasonable time frame for Bargnani and when to consider him a disappointment and to move on?

Hes only in his 2nd year. Next year will be a big year for him and how he comes into training camp and what hes added to his game. If hes still like this year next year then we should start to worry.
He has the package he just doesnt know how to use it yet. He really needs to work on his conditioning this offseason and take 1000 shots per day so his shot isnt flat later i nthe game and he can hit the easy shots consistantly. |

How many years has Bynum been developing his game?
How many years has other young big guys needed to develope it? I really think that guy (reporter) is talking shit to get that people read his article. Big guys need years and this guy is saying that we can see the Bargs' value after the next 11 games ... lmao ... what a way to try to watch Bargs' future |

They have to write something negative...I guess AB is the only real target after last nights game. I wasn't a big fan of Triano's tie though..i think we should consider giving up on him... he's gotta pick it up soon!

Have you ever heard the word "trust"???
Please take a look here http://it.youtube.com/watch?v=KzqJyADNaJI I know that it's "only" Euroleague and not NBA but Antrea i nthis clip was only 20 years old. Now He seems to be another person. Don't you think??? He just needs credit and confidence ,and it's clear that he don't have it at the moment |

Confidence: that's the thing that bothers me about Andrea.
He should have tougher skin and more determination. Take a guy like Delfino. Even when his shot isn't falling, he still shoots and thinks he will make it. Or he mixes it up and drives to the hoop. When Bargnani is struggling he seems to really dissapear. I'm not saying Delfino is the bees knees or anything, but sometimes it'd be better if Bargnani was more like him. I think Andrea will get there at some point, but he needs to work at it. He still hasn't really figured out what works and what doesn't work for him in the NBA. |

Of course it's too early to give up. I think he's only been given enough minutes to make some mistakes and then get pulled off. He needs more "continuous" minutes to work through them during a game.
He definitely needs to get his defense up, for sure. |

I just hate his baby attitude. He was wearing the "Someone just kicked my dog and I'm saddddddd!!!" look for the entire Piston game. Same thing when he got benched before. I really think that if Bargnani had someone like Noah or even Hump's passion(minus the dumb shots), we would have a stud on our hands. But I think his attitude is something that'll be hard to get over.

you don't know what you're talking about, the guy had 3 teeth knocked out, washed his mouth and came back on the floor to take 2 free throws. Funny how you don't like his baby attitude, but I've yet to see you complain about TJ's.

Too early to give up on Bargnani? Absolutely.
But you have to question what his ceiling is, and it's undoubtedly lower than what could have been after his first season. Quote:
Ideally we WANT him to be pissed at himself when he doesn't play. That sting will make him play harder in the long run. |
