Grange: Regarding Bosh's Knee Troubles

But even after staying off his feet for the entire all-star game break, he wasn't sure about being able to play tomorrow against the Cleveland Cavaliers at the Air Canada Centre.

"It's okay. It's one of those things it's hard to tell," Bosh said of his knee last Sunday. "You have your bad days; you have your good days. Walking around, it's hard to tell. You never can tell until you start running and stuff like that. Hopefully, we can get after it and see how it feels."

Bosh has missed considerable time in his career with knee problems, though the precise nature of them has always been held close the vest. This time, the club called Bosh's injury a sprain, indicating a sudden event, but Bosh said that wasn't the case.

"I have no idea. I don't know man. It's doctor talk," he said when asked for a more precise diagnosis. "It was more a buildup of scar tissue or something like that. It something that happened over time, it just didn't happen right away. I had swelling on it and stuff."

He said his problems with the knee date to mid-January.

"I was having problems with it and eventually my body just shut it down," he said. "[It started bothering me] a couple of weeks before."

Bosh said his current knee troubles won't require surgery: "That's the last thing I want to do. It hasn't been recommended. I would seek alternative measures."

But he added it won't likely feel entirely comfortable until the off-season.

Trade him, now. Vince Carter all over. Not that he is at all a bad guy, but it is too eerily similar for my liking.

Get rid of bosh, every year is the same freken story. He always goes down every season with knee problems. Really this has been bothering him since mid jan, wy dident he take a couple games off, or catch it while it was still early and not when it was too late. Later Playoffs and later bosh. Keeping this guy is just bad news now. Every year same bosh time same bosh place. Fucken Olympics took out our 2 best players this year..

Screw international basketball and its injuring of our playersl!!!!!!!!

I agree with you m5racer. It is screwing our players over but the players have the right to help there home country out and they feel honoured doing that. Although IMO they should focus more on the NBA and their conditioning because the get payed to play here

Is Bosh talking about his knee or his vagina?

Not to mention Garbo the year before playing for Spain (while injured), when it didn't even matter because they already qualified for the Olympics.

Yeah international bb has really screwed the Raps last couple of years. However somebody like Nash doesn't play for Canada because he feels he has more of an obligation to stay healthy for the team that pays him. Just wish we had a few players who felt that way.
