In no way would that comment be a disguised insult like 100% of your exaggerated nonsense posts... "years of being spoonfed minutes and opportunity". Yeah he's doesn't work hard at all - he didn't earn anything.

Your act is stale - how should people respond to it.
can't let? I let Ataf say his piece and gave appreciation of it... so yeah, I can.... but your act is getting lame. You want to hate me so hard, got me looking so crazy right now, uh oh uh oh

Move along, Demar isn't anything special yet. It's okay if you disagree, there are no victims here. Criticize away, call my schtick whatever you wish. Don't even respond if you wish. It's fine.

I don't think we've ever called him a special player.. sure the hyped up derozan fans has but we're simply calling out how he's been progressing over the past few years and games.

But it's very clear you just dont flat out like him for your own personal reasons lol.

Trading demar all depends on how long Masai is predicting this rebuild to be. I am expecting a two year build, in time for the all star game. IF that is the case, you keep demar because he will be 26. If he is expecting a full out rebuild 4+ years, then you trade him because he will be getting old. The rebuild will move along fast if we get a top 5 pick this year. Lowry to the bulls for a prospect like teague works fine be me, not sure how those salaries add up though.

Yeah, we don't need to overlook things and try to trade gay when the value isnt there atm. Losing lowry will desroy this team. IF by the deadline Gay has no interest, bench him and let ross and DD start. That could make him opt out

Augs, Buick and the Stone are great backup PGs to step in

I don't see RG passing up on about 20 million next season. Especially with his current play.

Hop off carp, y'all acting very modest all of a sudden when it comes to DeRozan.
The guy is still just a scorer, although he's finally seemingly improved his range and poise enough for the critics to acknowledge that he's turned into a fine scorer. In no way is he a complete player nor what some of us expected him to be.

that's bs. I just think more can be gained from trading him right now.

I'm acknowledging some growth.... but others don't want to acknowledge that I'm acknowledging... but he's the best player on a very bad team that rarely does more than score. Lately he's had some decent rebounding numbers, hopefully he can keep those up. If I'm proven wrong, great. If he's traded, I've always advocated getting good value based off what some think he might become not based on what I think he'll be.

I think what we really need is a post player. Someone who can slow the game down when we're on "panic" mode. Perhaps we can swap Derozan for Horford....or maybe get Favors. I don't think Val will be a scoring threat...I see him as Hibbert with minimal skills on offense but could be a monster on defense. I really think we're just one post player (offensively gifted) away from being a consistent team.

I agree, but we need a legitimate post presence that can get touches in our offensive sets.... meaning we need the coach to be willing!

Just set in how painful a long, steady re-build can be. A lot of us are hardcore here, but the fan attrition could be devastating.

I used to post more when I had my injury and don't have quite the same amount of time anyway, but I'd become more of a perimeter fan myself during a long drought. I'm under the impression the plan to re-build is not that long. It's hard to believe that 2016 will be a year of irrelevance. i.e. just an all-star game and another couple lottery picks.

Why are we taking Grange's musings as gospel? Does he have confirmation from Masai? Or is he just a writer trying to put something out there in the interest of his own visibility?

He is just a writer, but as was mentioned earlier, he's a seasoned guy who has been around for a long time. He probably has picked up on a few things that make it clear to him.

Well, the setting is perfect for a quickish rebuild that could have us competing for a playoff spot with 2-3 young stars come 2016. If we can trade Rudy, we'll have a ton of cap space, not to mention whichever (hopeful) stud rookie we can get in the draft.

Something keeps telling me they clear the deck more and try and lock in a "big three" by multiple means, including their ability to spend. Let's think about this for a minute. There would be too much heat from years of rebuilding, after years of missing the playoffs, preceded by years of getting nowhere. What part of TL would imply that he would accept that? This is a guy that said he is going to sit in the stands and listen to what fans have to say. They need to build it right, but I'm seeing a move of assets for other known commodities.

This franchise can't....cannot afford failed picks, best guesses and wasting assets.

Grange has some divine knowledge? When things finally happen, Grange is likely to be wrong.
