hahahahah marion wants 5 years at 10 million a year. Thats just funny. What an idot he is. Now he will realize that no one wants an old marion for the next 5 years.

have we heard anything from other teams involving offers to marion? it seems like only the Raptors have offered him anything
who knows though, considering hedo rejected the blazers, the blazers could just come back and offer marion a contract since now they have the money to focus elsewhere

As many people have pointed out though, they already have outlaw, they dont need Marion.

true, and i realized that but if you got yourself $10 million a year to use and nobody is left to sign for that much but maybe marion, you're going to sign him especially when he wants that much and no other team out there can afford him but you
you're going to sign him and say that he can be an asset, that you have another star on your roster
you're not just going to sit there with $10 million under the cap for a full season

hey, what is lamar's status? is he a UFA or an RFA? because there doesn't seem to be a lot of talk about him
if anything we should've took a look at him, considering we need a backup PG and he can handle the ball and run an offense for good chucks of a game

The Lakers are going to resign Lamar--they let Ariza go specifically for that purpose.

shawn marion, you are just not smart unless you want to sign with cleveland for the mle or i'm wondering can we sign marion for the MLE?

we now have a better team in having hedo and if we play hedo at the 2 and marion at the three that could put us in titlke contention or at least go deep into the po's and we'd be able to win against the likes of the lakers, cleveland and orlando, san antonio.

it would certainly soar our chances of winning the title. i hope marion realizes that if he joins this team for the mle he could win a title.

our bench would be pob, ukic, banks, jawai, derozan and low contracts probably some rookies. but, i think it wouldn't really matter because if we played the mixture just right we'd be in for a shockingly good Raptors squad come next season.

i say we shoot for the stars, go for broke and we try to get this done.

he's 6'10 and reasonably slow footed compared to other guards. can you name me one sg in the league like that? is that the type of guy you want at the 2?

not necessarily but, i'm thinking that we don't have to constantly play him at the 2 but, to start out a game and to finish it he can play the 2 i'm looking more at his size advantage over normal 2's. he can get really clear shots and sink alot. marion can play a mixture of pf and sf. he can't shoot the 3 very good. but, on defense 3's are going to have a harder time getting past marion then they are hedo.

If you've got Jose at the 1 and Hedo guarding the 2, you are going to get killed on dribble penetration all game long. Hedo does a good job of using his size to defend as well as he can, but he is still a suspect perimeter defender.

This team will need to score points.
