Not when there's no guarantee that they can keep Harden and Ibaka when it's contract time.

It would also give them a 2-3 year window to grab a title and then they could do a mini retool when Nash is gone.

It's ballsy.... but by no means would it cripple the franchise.

Harden could get them a lot more than a 38yr old PG.

Nash doesn't care about winning. He cares about fame and getting paid.

I'm surprised they're not calling Colangelo and trying to trade Harden for Sonny Weems

oh my god guys seriously you'd trade a young up and coming star who was already involved in a team that made the finals for a 38 year old? no way any NBA calibre GM makes that trade. Even Jeff agrees with me!

If I thought that the team would be better off for the next 2-3 years? Yes... I would. Sue me.

Who said the trade had to be straight up? Get some draft picks in return too and maybe another support player.

Nash's best opportunity to win it all was a few years back in Dallas. I see Miami / Thunder getting to the finals for the next few years...

The Knicks have become the frontrunners to sign Steve Nash, according to sources.

Nash and the Knicks are in discussions on a three-year deal worth between $27 million and $30 million.

New York would send Iman Shumpert, Toney Douglas and Dan Gadzuric to the Suns for Nash in a sign-and-trade.

Nash is enthusiastic about joining Carmelo Anthony, Tyson Chandler and Amar'e Stoudemire.

The Raptors offered Nash a three-year, $36 million deal at the start of free agency. Toronto also agreed to an offer sheet with Landry Fields, which took him off the table for the Knicks to include in a package for Nash.

Despite the possible addition of Nash, New York still intends to match any offer Jeremy Lin receives on the open market.

no, I posted that article above before and jeffb pointed it out- comically. just another post of the same article over and over and over. Seems some of us are either becoming overly eager to post news or are wrapped up tight in this Nash fiasco.
