Unhappy Grange: Good Chance T.J. & Jose Are Back Next Year!

Not what I wanted to hear.

Grange said that he basically won't be surprised if both PGs are back next year.

It looks like the market for TJ will be restricted and might not bring back what we all hope.

SHIT

This organization is at a loss right now, a complete loss. Jose and Me-J aren't meant to be together. (K, maybe I worded that a little weird)

We must trade one or the other (preferably Me-J) for a solid SF/PF. It makes no sense to keep two half-decent PGs when the team is struggling at the SF/PF position.

I think this isn't a good thing for the franchise. I honestly don't know what to say. They should get rid of TJ as soon as possible, even though his market value isn't necessarily high right now.

I think BC takes the best available trade possible for either PG. The entire NBA witnessed the collapse of this team in the 2nd half. We have two tradeable assets; one will go. If anything BC has shown to throw up smoke screens as to what his true intentions are but I do believe that in the next calendar year (June 2008 -2009) a trade will happen.

I think this whole issue has been completely blown out of proportion. This isn't where the Raptors' problems lie. Take a look at the number of games that you can honestly say TJ lost for the Raptors (by himself) compared to the problems they had rebounding or scoring. Let's just keep it all in perspective. Would I like to see TJ moved if the right deal could be worked? Probably, but the way he has been vilified is beyond belief.

I look at a bit longer timeframe, mostly because I think BC might be a bit stubborn with how he looks at his original timeframes with respect to moves he wants to make, and because both pgs will gain in value after the off-season. And they might want to see how other changes effect the overall dependence on strong pg play, before taking any risk right off.

Is this the same Grange who reported a bunch of rumours the other day only to have ten different people come out and state that nothing of the sort took place.

Grange annoys me.

But he's right about one thing, as obvious as it is, nobody is gonna want to take a chance on Tj. we all knew that the minute he hit the floor in Atlanta.

thats impossible IMO.
even my grandma knows that either TJ or Jose will be gonzo next season.
theres no way in hell the team has both players on the roster next season, no way.
the experiment is over and it failed, badly.
no way do we go thru another season of that crap.
TJ is the problem... if we get back shit in return it will still work out well for us, because we couldnt win with them both here anyways.

why not take a chance with TJ? Dallas took a chance with Kidd, when you KNOW he has at most one more year left in him. Same for Phoenix with Shaq. I'm sure Livingstone will get a nice contract if he starts playing reasonably well. Portland took a chance on Roy, NY took a chance on Curry.

Injuries aside, TJ has great upside, he's a very good player now, and for the most part he's not extremely selfish. Plus he'll be very motivated for a season or so. It's not like TJ is guaranteed to reinjure himself.

The real problem is the other GMs trying to lowball Colangelo on this injury thing, trying to make it a much bigger concern that it really is.

Milk.

Take a moment and research his condition. You may find it's a little more serious than you're allowing yourself to believe. I might rip on that Cat all the time, but he has had balls of steel to continue as he has. It isn't like he tore his MCL, you can rehab back to 100% from that. Tj has fused disks, and a narrow spinal passage that is VERY susceptable to pinching nerves, and even severed nerve issue if he absorbs conatact at the correct angle. And the scary thing is, it won't have to be a Horford like hit, it can happen on something as simple as a guy ot calling out a pick.

He's a gamble and a half actually.
