Default Grange: Bosh's all-star status is far from clear

Grange doesn't think Bosh should be considered a shoe-in for this year's all-star game. I kind of agree with him, but I still hope the coaches choose him. It would suck if we didn't have anyone there to represent the team in New Orleans.

Maybe. Maybe not.

Good point, he hasn't had the consistancy this year to be considered an allstar in my opinion, but that hasn't deterred players from getting the nod before(ahem Vince) whether by vote or nomination. Is he allstar good? Yes. Is he having an off year? Yes.

No worries. Kapono will be there for 3-point shooting contest and Moon should be a fan fav at soph-rookie game.

What about Bargnani, Mike? Any word on him playing in the rookie-sophmore game?

You'd think the R.O.Y. runner-up would be invited to play.

He doesn't deserve it in my opinion. Playing like crap most of the year...should sit this one out.

Players who are having decent/good, not great years but are on great teams SHOULD NOT make the allstar team. Hamilton and especially Prince shouldnt have a shot in hell of making the team. It was a joke a couple years ago how Sheed, who was avging 13+6 made it that year, the coaches better not be idiots again. Only Chauncey deserves to make it from Detroit.

If it was up to me, he wouldn't be there. But, especially considering how he played last year and the international appeal of the event, I fully expect him to play.

I don't think that he deserves to go and, also, I rather him not go... let him go home and rest his body for the tougher part of the season...

Also, if he doesn't go he might have chip on his shoulder and play with a little more passion and toughness...

I say he should go and deserves to go.
Without him we wouldn't be winning ball games.
Coaches to take into consideration that this guy had a leg injury that slowed him down.
Thats why your seeing a low FG and LOW rebs.
Look for that to go up.
Also, it builds a players confidence knowing there an all-star.
It would be a shame for our franchise player not to be an all-star!!!
