I got excited for a second. The Pistons are going no where with that roster so the pick would've been great. I'd have the Pistons to laugh at, and we'd have a high pick as well as a vet wing player.

A backcourt of Bayless/Derozan/Hamilton with Calderon/Barbosa/Johnson off the bench would be pretty decent.

If we get the pick, I'd drive Bargnani to the airport.

hahaha

i would do this deal. I am more than willing to give Bargs a try this year, new position, new coach, but this deal is so tempting. Remind me one more time, will you still be able to amnesty after this season? could we shed hamilton's contract next year? I know there would only be 1 year left, but with val and wow, maybe TWO more draft picks coming in would be nice to shed that contract and then look for the FA vet.

Cuda and I have hung out with Grange before through some other friends. Drank some pitchers.

His overall knowledge of the game of NBA basketball would make your head fall off.

Not quite a troll.

thats amazingly awesome that you've hung out with him. i'm sure my head would remain in tact, especially since his knowledgable awesomeness is nothing more that what i've been reading from bitter fans on message boards for the last couple of seasons. i used to enjoy his articles, but he's taken a turn for the worse.

I love how Rip plays. He would be the ideal mentor for DD... Well, Rip or Ray Allen.

Plus, Bargs leaving, well... I'm a Raptors supporter, and I support all the players. But... This Bargs leaving idea... I can't say I'm completely against it.

And Grange, we definitely need more Granges covering the Raptors (and in sports reporting in general). His articles are the first ones I read from the Daily Dish every time. He's a hell of a lot more than just a mouthpiece of the Raptors. The guy has an opinion, and he has integrity.
