question is, is he ever going to have starter qualities? He's undersized, underskilled and over-enthusiastic ... hardly a killer combination. Sure, he's only 22 - but I doubt that's relevant here. The best use for Humphries is energy off the bench - play him for 35 mintues a game and you lose his biggest asset.

convinced that Raptors fans are only happy when they're unhappy.

I'm not implying that he start and nor do I think of him as starter material ever. I just think and have noticed the areas where we've struggled the most this season (rebounding and interior work period) when Humps get a good burn we're alot more respectable under the glass on both ends. Not so much with Bargs playing as a big man.

Right - and that will always be true, I don't think andreea will ever be a hustler. But don't forget that in games where Humphries doesn't bring it, he's mostly taking up space on the court for nothing, he doesnt' bring us anything else. I love the way he dunks, and he's definitely improved his offensive skills, he has a decent jumpshot for a center and has developed a few moves I didn't see last season. But the reality is he's undersized to be a center and underskilled to be a power forward. Plus, when he plays too much, he begins to stray from his strengths ...
