Default Garbajsoa expects to stay in Toronto next season.

http://www.marca.com/edicion/marca/b...o/1126893.html

I wont translate the whole thing, Ill just summarize it:
-He is in madrid presenting his camp.
-He is feeling really good, he is at the final stage of the recovery and that after months of suffering he is finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.
-Without a complete recovery it doesnt have any sense to think about the olympics.
-He understands torontos boycott of him going to the olympics because of what happend last year.
-He wants to be cautious with the injury and said he will be going to toronto soon for evaluations.
-He is not thinking about comming back to europe, even though there are rumors about Real Madrid interest on him. He says he still has one more year in toronto and If the Raptors are interested on getting rid of him they would have spoken to his agent, wich they havent.
-He said he is happy in Toronto even after all the conflicts.

convinced that Raptors fans are only happy when they're unhappy.

I love his optimism but I still can help being skeptical about how healthy he really is. My expectations for him next season is that he won't play or either be here in Toronto period, but anything more will be a pleasant surprise.

Reality.

He was slow before he destroyed his ankle.

He's old.

How can you expect him to be getting any better?

He'll stay, and he'll feel lucky to be able to.

On a lighter note, I saw him at the Drake a couple weeks ago. He actually looks younger in person. He was walking well, no limp. Looked good. No women. Ah well, 2/3 aint bad eh Garbo!!!!!

Thats good for him, I wouldn't mind keeping him for another year or so. Good for him for being cautious and all
