probably the most overrated raptor ever. i'm surprised how loved he still is when he basically fucked us over by playing in the nationals when he wasn't medically cleared. it's not like he went against the will of our GM or anything....

He was almost a complete replica of Oakley without the trash talk & only halph as good a rebounder. Solid pickup for BC then.

He stepped out of bounds at least once a game.

garbo was a good pickup, but i've never understood the cult. i don't see how you can compare oak to garbo. oak was an attitude that enforced toughness on our team with the help of davis and willis. he helped change the culture of the raptors. garbo was just a role player like jyd or reggie evans.

If you fucked with the Oaktree, he would literally punch you in the face. Not sure Garbo was ever quite that Gangsta'.

Again I was more talking about his game not his personality.

That highlight mix is probably the least exciting basketball video I've ever seen. I'm pretty sure Jorge did more than just shoot really long 2s and 3s while here...

??? ummm not quite there jackson. I was a JYD fan, but Jorge was a way more complete player.

Oakley was great. But so was Garbajosa. They had similarities, but they weren't carbon copies. Problem with Garbo was that the sample size was so small. But before the injury, he was a huge reason behind that team's success.

There's a reason why things went downhill after he was lost.

Reggie Evans.... please. only in reggie's dreams.

jorge was a more complete player, but that doesn't put him in a class above a role player. he was an extremely intelligent player, but he was a tweener who had a lot of deficiencies.

what are the similarities between oak and garbo? toughness? i really have a hard time seeing these (positive) similaries.

things went downhill moreso when Bargs was lost, not garbo
