Prediction

- 98
- 102

Well, Portland are a team that shouldn't be taken lightly especially at home where they are 10-3. LaMarcus is back in tonight's line-up for the Blazers, which should make and interesting match-up for Bosh. Hopefully Parker can find a way to containing Roy and off the bench the most interesting match-up will be Delfino vs. Outlaw. Travis has been ripping it up as of late as Portland's 6th man, so tonight should be an exciting game.

Predict and discuss!

tough game.
still, if our offense picks up and "returns to form," it'll be very winnable.

One of AP or Bargnani WILL have a big night. that's my prediction.

If they dont let Webster, Jones, Blake, and Jack get off from 3 we have a chance, as well as putting Delfino or Moon on Outlaw. Stop their supporting players=stop their winning streak. LA should be rusty, so just let Roy shoot 25 times a game, as long as he doesnt get those 8 assists we should be good.

Considering Parker isn't the player he was last year especially on defense, I'm a little worried about him trying to cover Roy. I think he might have a huge game and exploit AP. If he does start shooting out the lights, be sure to put Delfino or Moon on him at least.

I've stoked a fire in hopes of somehow, non-locally and transcendentally stoking a fire under the raps blistering cold offense. If the raps lose i'll be more upset that my transcendental act didn't come through.
I still smell a victory for the blazers. a big one!

Since I am always Mr. Pessimist this time I'll try Raps win for a change... OK, I say Raps win by 10+... Bargo has to start hitting those shots sooner or later...

31-30 Blazers at the end of the first quarter of play, and boy oh boy the Blazers look like they have been playing together for at least 5 years. I don't know how we are keeping it close, but I am glad it is a close game, lets pick it up in the second quarter.

Blazers have a plethora of young quality forwards and with Oden recovering future sure looks bright for them...

Watching how good Roy is I do ask myself if BC picked the right guy...

I Hate Sam Mitchell!! He Lost Us Another Damn Game By Having The Entire Bench On The Floor To Start The 4th Quarter And For Keeping Darrick "dumbass" Martin In The Game!! This Is At Least The 5th Game That He Has Caused This Team!!! Bc Needs To Replace Mitchell As Soon As Possible!!! And Someone Needs To Shoot Darrick Martin Every Time He Chucks Up A Shot!!

I'm from Spain, and in a spanish magazine, there was a rumour, that the Raptors are considering to make a trade with the Grizzlies, to have Gasol and Navarro come to Toronto.
What do you think of having 4 spaniards play for the Raptors??

Sam Mitchell let Darrick Martin in for too long in the 4th quarter, what was it? 7 min left in the 4th before he put in Calderon and Bosh back in, when we already lost our 7 point lead to a 2 point lead and blazers with the momentum. We have the next day off anyways so why not work Jose a little harder? sometimes I think Sam is one of the dumbest coach in the league, but then again those 2 in and out shots from Jose didnt help either late in the game.

Well, i watched the whole game except for the last bit in the fourth quarter from when Sam took Martin out of the game. A move like most of you think came a few possesions too late. Sucks too becuase for the most part, the Raptors played a hell of a game.

I said it at the start of the season, and i'll reiterate it again, Darrick Martin is the worst player in the NBA. I don't even know why Colangelo has him on the roster. It would be wise to release him and just bring in a young unsigned player with speed who knows how to pass. Anyone. please!!!

Hell of an offensive game from Kapono last night. I'm liking him more and more. Great to see Parker come up big too.

Now onto Bargnani.... What the hell is Gino doing out there?! It baffles the mind to see how shitty he is on the boards. He has the worst rebounding instincts for anyone his size in the league. You'd think after watching Hump/Bosh/Delfino bust their asses on the boards he would learn that it's all about positioning, hustle and blocking out the oposition to get the rebound. He's just awful and very unreliable when there is a rebound up for grabs. It's like the ball has to fall into his arms for any success... I'm getting very dissapointed in him. You can't fault Mitchell because he does give him ample playing time considering how shitty he's been. very frustrating.

As for Portland - credit their offense for this win. Aldridge came out sharp especially after five games off. And Roy is a playah. That one drive where he switched hands in mid air was beautiful. And his outside shooting is pretty deadly too. Kind of wish Colangelo chose a little differently on draft night? just saying.

I really want Andrea to succeed. I like the guy a lot, and last year i was thinking the sky was the limit. Now, i'm not sure at all.

The more I watch Jose Calderon start at point guard for the rapts the more I feel that Jose will be our starter. He is looking so good and if he continues to get the minutes Jose Calderon will be a top 5 point guard in the league.

hey payito, good to see another spaniard here, theres a thread about that in this subforum, anyway IMO thats never going to happend because it doesnt have any sense for both teams, Navarro is not moving from memphis because his style is perfect for Memphis, and gasol is happy there but maybe he is moving but not to Toronto, we dont have any player that they might want.

And anyway I would like to see our players around the league not all in the same team.
