So, I missed the second half guys, but outside of the usual of blaming Sam, what else went wrong for us last night? First half we looked great offensively and were moving the ball around fluently but I heard we fell apart in the 4th.

Story in a nutshell is this:
We're up by 7 midway through. With a lineup of Martin, Delfino, Kapono, Gino, Hump. Portland goes on a run. they keep scoring, we keep missing. Every raptor fan watching is asking where's Jose? Bosh?

Portland takes the lead by 2 (10-0 run). then Bosh, Jose finally come into the game. but it's too late. Portland never loses momentum. Raptors also get royally fucked by two brutal ref calls. Game over.

Both teams were on fire in the third quarter. Raps stopped hitting shots in the fourth, a couple of defensive lapses, two attrocious offensive fouls called against Bosh and Hump that were clearly on the Blazers, but went against the Raps and Mitchell screaming to foul right away while Kapono just stood there oblivious to his pleas doing nothing allowing about 10 -15 seconds to tick off the clock with about 26 seconds left leaving 11 seconds left in the game.

Thanks guys!

Hmmmm .... was there are reason why Martin was playing in the 4th during a tight game? Was Jose winded or something?

Also, how did "Gino" play in the 2nd half because he didn't do anything fantastic in the first half from what I can remember.

What the fuck .... he got almost 20 minutes in playing time and can't even at least get half a dozen boards? Jeez

I'm honestly starting to think he's a lost cause. No confidence at all, not to mention any emotion. Whether happy or pissed, this guy remains stonefaced.

Agreed in regards to Bargnani. He looks completely lost out there at times, and his teammates have little confidence in getting him the ball. I remember seeing two occasions last night when he was calling for the ball on the wing, and Jose waved him off to go to Hump in the post!!! Significant.
My two cents here is that the raps had no answer for Roy. He was just too damn good, he completely dominated the game, if not actually, then his presence did. Outlaw and Webster are for real.
McMillan is a helluva coach.
Fourth quarter, it came down to two turnovers in the last minute, the key being jose dribbling the ball off his foot.
Tough loss though. the offense was clicking a bit finally.
It was nice to see AP back in good form.

And in regards to Calderon sitting on the bench for song long Mitchell really has to be careful with Jose. He's already overusing him and not only are his fingers still sore, but he's got some sort of minor oblique strain. What the fuck would this team do without him and TJ?

Ugh .... don't remind me. We'd be fucked forsure and depending on T.J.'s visit today in New York, BC might be exploring other options as a back-up at point if he hasn't already started looking.

Man, I missed the game last night. Took my daughter to bed at 8, read her a story and next thing I know, I wake up at 4am on the floor in her room with the damn book on my chest. I think next time, I'm going to stand up when I read instead of sitting against the bed. Awkward, but at least I won't miss the west coast games!

Oh, I totally agree with what you said, I just read it in a spanish magazine and I thought it was kind of interesting.
I also want to see more spanish players prove their worth in the NBA, and more will come.
I'm new here, and I'll learn to put the right posts in the right places, LOL.
Thanks and Happy Holidays to everyone.
