Disappointing game now - we were hanging with Detroit for awhile. Bargnani terrible showing. Where's the heart?

Raps back to taking jump shots - one and done

Been watching with my dad and bro. What a depressing evening. Sitting around looking at my pitiful, swollen and sore dog who just had ACL surgery, eating greasy chinese food and watching a frustrating obliteration of the Raps at the hands of a much, much better team.

I could use a bit of good news here...

Im just tired of all the jump shots we take!
Our second unit sucks without calderon/ford in it, no one other then Bosh gets to the line, Moon is so not starting material, and just upset with the turnovers i saw today.

Bargnani?
Well I didn't expect much to begin with, he made Detroits scouting part, in result: he took stupid shots and rushed them as usual.

Looking for a 3 game winning streak.
Atleast 28 wins before the All-Star Break.
So 8-5 in there next 13 games.
...
Won't get my hopes up with barney.

But yeah, *fingers crossed*

I missed the second half as I spent it in the can. I swear the Raps were so bad it induced a massive diarrhea attack

looks like blaming Bargnani has become the latest fashion ... not sure what did he do wrong in this game, other than one or two defensive mistakes, much fewer than chris bosh, antony parker or joey graham ... Again, mitchell chose to make his the scapegoat by taking him out after the first minutes in the second half, for no apparent reasons. I thought he played ok in the first half, had 5 rebounds (more than Bosh), and held his own against McDyess. Yes, he missed 3 shots, but they were all good shots, so I don't see a problem there.

If anybody is to blame for this loss, it's Sam Mitchell, who apparently learned nothing from the game last week, the same people that burned us then had their way again. For some reasons AP can't keep up with Hamilton, but luckily Mitchell had this great idea: why don't we put our worst defender (kapono) on hamilton, maybe that will work ...

And Bosh, he is completely useless against a strong defense, proving one more time that we'll never beat a good defensive team with CB4 as a primary offensive weapon ...

couldnt disagree with you more about bargnani. he was out of position almost everytime on defense. looked dozens of steps slower. he was given open looks and he missed them badly. and oh, that airball from five feet, real sharp.
i dont think mitchell is scapegoating him. but he brings absolutely nothing to the table, and the proof is in the pudding. the pudding being that opposing teams dont adjust their defenses for him before the game, like they were doing late last year and early this year. they stay off him and dare him to put it on the floor. when he does, he usually turns it over, travels, or falls over because he's so out of control.

So missed last night's game, but from what I've read and saw in the highlights it looks like the same shit over and over again. No answer in the interior for both defense and rebounding.

Anyhow, for those that watched the game, were their any positives on the Raptors side?

so if he was out of position, how come the pistons didn't kill us in the paint? Sure, he missed open shots, since when is that reason to bench a player? Stuckney had 2 or 3 airballs in the game, I haven't seen Flip taking him out ... And I definitely don't agree that he doesn't bring anything, he brougt 5 rebounds, 2 of them in traffic, which is more than CB had in the first half. He gave two assists off penetrations, and he only had 1 TO. I'm not saying he had a magnificent game, or anything - but he sure wan't the reason why we lost. And the proof is that he didn't play at all in the second half, and we played just as bad.
