I've resisted criticizing Parker, but he really has stunk for a while now.

Regardless we can't beat their second and third unit players with our big guns out there.

Pathetic.

We just looked totally not in the same league out there.

Sam's post game comments on why we didn't win.

"we just didn't make shots"

We didn't make our shots because we settled once again in the 2nd half for just jump shots. First half we were working it into the paint and driving and was successful, but then second half we stopped with that all together with the exception of Bosh and Delfino attacking a couple times.

This was actually a winnable game but too many of our players didn't show up.

If we can't keep up with Detroit's 2nd unit, we HAVE to play someone else in the 1st round, namely Orlando so at least we have some sort of chance

I only watched about half of the game. The made a pretty good effort to come back, but I guess they just let back in the end and let the Pistons take over.

Well look the Pistons defense, how much spacing when defending one on one, and the way they double-team, there was a few turnovers because of that, plus showing the opposite team that they are there and controlling tempo, that's why the Pistons are who they are, I wish we can built our team around that type of defense.

why is it that our best player, bosh, is not our go to player in late game situations? and we settle for TJ ford drives and ill-advised shots?

Im actually growing tired of hearing this sentiment throughout raptorland. what the eff has this team done to make us think its capable of beating a 50 win team, who's well coached and executes more consistently than we do on both ends of the court? matchups or not, seeings how we struggled against detroit's second unit mightily is a sign that this team remains light years away from winning a playoff series.
it just isnt going to happen Raptors fans and pundits. stop smoking that shit. it doesnt matter the opponent, the winning ingredient most teams have figured out is to keep us out of the paint, which isnt all that hard considering we have only one guy who has the capability of getting to the foul line. take that away and stay at home on shooters and we havent a prayer of winning. competing maybe. winning. not likely.

that sounds like a question posed to sam on numerous postgame instances where he either pleaded ignorance, questioned the intelligence of the questioner, or replied with his usual "makin shats" shite.

Fair enough, I'm just stating I think we have a better chance of not necessarily beating, but at least competing with Orlando than Detroit. Detroit was intent on giving lots of minutes to their 2nd unit and its frustrating that we couldn't play well against them.

Their one on one defense is awesome. They smothered our guys and got right into their faces. No wonder we couldn't do anything on the offensive end during the second half. It was was pretty impressive.

The bench players played better than the starters tonight, we were closer with the starters the whole game long.

They said that because they don't follow the team as we do, they only go by stats, as everybody know Bosh has his owns ups and downs, and comparing him with the rest of the teammates show how much they know about our team.

Bosh's D on the 6'6 Maxiell and Delfinos on the rookie who cant shoot a lick yet got all his pts from inside and ft line cost us the game. We should have zoned them up as they didnt have one consistant outside shooter in the game in the meat of the 4th.

It's sad to see that Raps can't even beat Detroit bench...
