Prediction

- 101
- 96

First game our western swing and we take on the injury ridden LA Clippers. No Brand, No Cassell and No Livingston, but they'll still be tough especially down in the post trying to shut down Kaman who's having a breakout season in Los Angeles. I also like the Moon vs. Maggette match-up, but if Jamario plays like he has over the last couple weeks, Cory's going to have a field day on Moon.

Predict and discuss!

I see a win... but a close game. I think Rasho can contain Kaman at least to the point of not letting him have a monster game. Maggette always gives us trouble but he's not enough to win for them.

Raps should win this one but... they are known to play down to opponents level so they could easily lose this game... their start will be the key...

I think Moon should have a big game if we let him roam off of Ross and put Parker on Maggette. The Clippers are turruble and Jamario should have a field day on the boards. The key to the game is Rasho and Bargs playing Kaman well, unless we just double team all game, then we'll be in for a tough one because their players can knock down shots. We should just single cover Kaman and make the other guys make plays and we'll win by 10.

The west coast trip has finally arrived, I'm pumped!!!

My problem with Moon as of late is that he's settling for jumpers too often and not driving to the hoop enough. I'm going to rip out my hair if I see him take another 3 point attempt this season.

He was better yesterday..albeit some of that in garbage time you must admit. That put-back dunk and alleyoop in the fourth were nice to see again.

First half - Ugh!

We're making the clips look like all stars. I wish they'd stop shooting and take it to the rim.

We're losing because Calderon isnt probing and getting himself, and wing players open looks. I wish Bargs would be stationed in the midrange area exclusively like Dirk is now, I hate how hes being used.

Raps are playing like shit...

Jose is too predictable, Bosh is shadow of himself and rest of the guys are just plain mediocre...

Fuck this shit  I am not staying awake for 2nd half, I need to work in the morning and I am not even sure that I need to PVR this crappy game...

Until tomorrow... Krazy goes to sleep...

Anyone else here think Bosh is a little stupid sometimes.

and why the hell does he keep shooting away from the paint, not his game at all. He can beat any big man off the dribble

What an atrocious game. We played down to their level and thus created the worst game to watch of the season. AP had the worst performance by a player in the 07 season if you dont include Jason Collins every game.

I told you guys Jamario would be big tonight, I can always tell when the matchups are in his favor.

I really hope we put him on Outlaw tomorrow and not Bargs or Hump, if Mitchell puts a big on that guy we're gonna lose by 20.

This was perhaps one of the ugliest games of the year.

AP was absolutely atrocious. he doesn't deserve big minutes right now. people will say its his defensive intensity. he didnt snag a rebound, register a steal and let little richie frahm go off. didn't hit a shot from the field and he played thirty plus minutes. wow!

A win is a win, but this team is getting really difficult to watch. they play a boring game of high screen and roll, the only time they play up-tempo it seems is when delfino is on the floor. this whole grab the rebound bullshit and get it to the point guard and walking it up is aweful. I honestly fell asleep twice tonight, and i never do in tight games.

They're ball movement is still aweful and they're spacing....fuck. I don't know how many times I saw two bigs come up to the top of the lane to set a pick simultaneously. they run all these cuts too, that dont produce good looks. their only play all night was Bosh in the post, clear out and let him work. borrrring. predictable, one trick pony. we won because LA didnt double until late fourth quarter.

If the Clippers doubled earlier we would have figured it out quick and got the guy in the corner open looks all night long and the game would have been funner to watch, too bad it didnt happen and Bosh played soft 1/2 the game just settling for jumpers vs the gimp.

Calderon had a good statline but didnt attack at all and looked bad for the most part. Hes really gotta start getting into the lane again and making decisions from there like he usually does. Hopefully the week off next week will get everyone fully healthy and we'll go into the 4 games from hell 2 weeks from now fully loaded.

agree. terrible offensive game.
i'm not into the idea of benching Parker so much... because i know the man is clutch and i fully expect him to snap out of his slump. His confidence looks to be down right now and he is rushing his game, hoping that he will automatically snap out of his funk. Like every good player in a slump, he will find a way out of it.

what's with Kapono only taking three shots all game long. Not enough! This can only mean there is much too little movement on offense. How much of it has to do with Calderon force feeding bosh, i don't know. But they better all get on the same page and give their 3 point specialist some open looks.

All in all, i am glad they willed out a victory. The defense did it last night. Hopefully the offense will come back too.
