I hate to post, so this will probably be my first and last post.

I too having been waiting for an explosion, not particularly from TJ, but rather from anyone in the locker room. The Bosh excuse has been played out for too long. Good coaches find way to win regards, especially against inferior opponents. Primarily talking about the losses to NY, Indiana, and Bobcats. If wasn't clear to others, I hope it is clear now, that Sam Mitchell has lost complete control of the team. He has lost the players,as was evident before this west coast road trip. The team has been coming out flat for the last month or so, and it seems as though he is afraid to approach Tj. It was apparent after ford blow out Mitchell was completely lost and not control of the situation. Any one watching the game knew Tj ford was about to explode, and with a close game Sam Mitchell should have called a timeout and settled the team down primarily tj ford. I can't blame tj ford for what he did because he is an emotional guy and it happened in the heat of the game, but Sam could have avoid the entire problem from the beginning by simply calling a timeout and taking tj to the side and calming him down (Sloan did this in the first half with Williams and as many other do).

In short, it has become evident that Sam Mitchell has lost control of the team, his random substitutions have confused the players, because many don't understand what there role is and the lack of coaching knowledge has put more stress on the players than there should be. If anyone has been listening to the broadcasting will realized they too have taken there jabs at Mitchell indirectly. In todays game Jack stated that guys need to be put in spots to be successful, like they have done for Korver, this was followed by a pan shot of Kapono then Sam. All i know is this will be an interesting offseason to say the least.

One last thing Barg. struggles as the number 1 pick is not helping this team. The expectations are way to high, and i am having a hard time seeing this pan out the way is supposed too (Only winning will change this). Usually it only takes 2 years or so to see if a player will be successful, but this is not fact so take it with a grain of salt. Good Night!!... It is only going to get
more interesting from here...

IMO

Very insightful Pickstar and I really hope you reconsider your stance on this possibly being your last post here too.

Maybe a welcome to RF thread will make you change your mind.

Good post, I agree on this part a lot. Hope is not your last post BTW.

As much as it was nice for someone to lose it and show some emotion, unfortunately it scared the rest of our nice, character guys. lol

Today was the first time I've seen Mitchell look so utterly disgusted and dismayed by the team. Not a good sign.

If Ford just blew up on a normal call, I'd be OK with it. Let off some steam.

What pissed me off was that for the entire 4th quarter before that, it was the Orlando game Me-J again. How many goddamn times does he have to do this before Sam takes him out or gives him a whooping? He probably would've gone the entire 4th quarter if it wasn't for the ejection. Sam's lack of punishment (aka, instant benching) for this has resulted in TJ going farther and farther into the abyss of teamless douchebag. He is completely unleashed right now and Sam has let him do it game after game. I'm just angry.

Well, if that's the case then they need to pull out their gigglestick and funberries from between their legs. We need to be like and emulate the "Bad Boys" of Detroit from back in the day.

This season kind of reminds me of the 2002-2003 season.

Sorry, I meant 2001-2002

Carter hurt, team loses 13 in a row and then wins 13 of the last 15 games to get in the playoffs and could've upset Detroit if Childs didn't screw up the last play of Game 5.

Difference is our best player will be back.

Good post Pick. This point can't be stressed enough. There is no game plan. No one but Bosh, AP and Jose have established roles on this team. Someone was saying earlier that the Raps are unable to impose their will on another team. It's all a lack of leadership. There's no forcing of opponents to your pace and your sense of discipline, no taking charge of the competition on your terms... Where is the plan Sam? Who's in charge of this ship?

No... no way... right now TJ looks like Rafer from his days as a Raptor... specially his last year when he exploded couple of times off the court and on the court he played selfishly and without thinking...

Jack made a great point in the post-game...

Hopefully that explosion exercised the demons that have been haunting TJ and he can get back to effectively quarterbacking the team.

Raptors team after the second quarter against NY, it hasn't been the same as you mention random substitution, momentum blow-outs over and over. I was just watching what Jose was saying regarding the last quarter----> "it was my turn to go to the bench", that's wrong, if you are playing good, you have to stay on the floor specially when the game is so tied, anyway another blow-out.......................and don't kid yourself CB won't make a difference unless we are playing with another beat up team.
